I just checked an exact amount, and our airtran tickets last December (2nd week) were just under $170 per person, including all taxes, etc.

Do you know how far in advance Airtran posts its schedules/fares? They have newly arrived at the Richmond airport and it is promising to make price competition heat up a bit. But when I try to price out our October trip I have no luck getting a schedule with fares to come up.

I think we booked our December trip in the summer, so that sounded about right.
The strangest thing is, right now you can see their flights scheduled through October 4th... but that's when it stops Apparently they roll them out, instead of doing it monthly? What date are you leaving? It looks they should be posted soon either way!

Yes, I'm laid up. My achielles tendon is inflamed and I'm in a brace and on steriods. I think I may be the first person to ever lose weight on steriods, but my muscles are so swollen I'm losing a otn of water weight....

I'm soooooo glad I bought this laptop. I can dis in my living room. So I'm having my little posting party........

Interesting idea... not sure how Kyle would do with the fireworks- he freaked out pretty bad during "Hallowishes" last year...

Earplugs help, or if you don't think he'll want those in his ears, you can use a headset. My DS had sensory issues when he was young, and the OT therapist recommended the above and it worked!

I am having a very proud mom moment. Kyle is in Cub scouts and tonight was the pine-wood derby. Out of over 60 kids Kyle won !!!
I am SO excited for him, and he was SO excited that he was shaking!!! This means SO much to him, he has such a hard time fitting into things because of his disability!!! In the final round all of the cub scouts in his den were chanting "Kyle -Kyle- Kyle" he was SO excited and proud of himself!!! I could not be any prouder!!! He is still walking around on !!!!

Congratulations to Kyle!!!!

in a nutshell: Illuminations takes place in epcot (the laser show) the cruise takes you along the boardwalk and then parks the boat under the bridge and you get a front row view of the show. The boat picks you up at one of the resorts...

same thing for wishes except you are in the other lake and you are watching the fireworks from MK.

10 person boat..I think it's $200-250. I can't remember. It's not bad if you get a group to split the cost. I did that in Oct. with 2 groups of Dis people.

I enjoyed it enough where I would like to do it again.

When are going to be there again? We are hoping to be there Dec. 3-7 and I'm thinking a cruise would be cool for DH & I.

I'm so happy!!!! We might be going next month to WDW!

It depends on if this big job we're in the middle of pays us in time to do it. I'm so excited! I haven't been in two years and my DS2 hasn't ever been (unless you count when I was expecting him). My DS3 doesn't remember much from the two times he's been at 9 months and abt. 18 months. My DD10 has been about 10 times ....

Our plan stands like this for the moment:

Drive down (13-14 hours depending on stops) and stay offsite for two nights to recover from the drive, relax, and do DTD. Then we check into the Cabins at FTW for 7 nights. Oh the planning I have to do! And I loooooooove the planning.

So guess what I have to start doing now!? Making shirt designs!!

So, anyone have any suggestions or tips for us?

I'm so thrilled. Gosh I hope they pay us on time or it'll be September before we can make it.

Ok! I have not posted in a while. I have been in a kind of post-disney and don't know when I will ever get to go back mood.

Now DH has agreed to go in Dec. That makes all of the difference in the World.

I know a lot of y'all are going in Dec. and kind of remember some discussion about avoiding PopWarner time. We really only have 2 choices of times to go Dec. 1 - Dec 6 or Dec 8 - Dec 13. I sounds like PopWarner will be during part of either of these times. Does anybody have any advice on what they are doing or which one they would choose?

We were there during Pop Warner in 2004 and we had no problems. They closed MGM early one night and we ran across cheerleaders in the parks but no problems. We stayed at POFQ.
