Thanks for the recipes Glynis. I was just thinking what kind of desert to make, so any dessert recipes would be good.

Debbie...I hope you shake the blues SOON...not sure if you are into supplements...but a product called Sam-e has shown to be effective. I have taken it in the past...and really found it to be helpful.

Vitamin D has also been shown to be useful.

Double rats. You people just keep raining on my parade. :guilty: ;)
Depends on how you look at it.....you could always go on a Thursday.;)

Hunter's Nintendo DS cracked at the hindges a couple of days ago. I called to get it covered under the warranty, but it turns out that I purchased it on 11/16/06 and we had just missed the 1 year warranty. Today as I was sorting through misc receipts I found the receipt...attached to an extended warranty that I had forgot that I bought :cool1: I called and filed a claim. We need to mail the DS to the company and they will send him a gift card to buy a new one. For once a waranty paid off :goodvibes

I bit the bullet today and sat down and paid bills :scared: The good news is that we can eat for another month :lmao: Boy is this time of year expensive. At least it's done and I can stop dreading the task. I also managed a load of laundry, got a replacement bulb for Colby's fiber optic tree and got that put up and made dinner. I guess that's not to shabby for a day off

Hooray! I never buy those things, but I'm glad you did! I was so disappointed for you that you barely missed it!

So, I'm looking for ideas for a new resort restaurants to try during our December trip. We have done Concourse Steakhouse, Chef Mickey's, California Grill, Boma, 1900 Park Fare (breakfast & dinner), Ohana's, Trails End, and Shutters (CBR). Any ideas on some place new to try?

Thursday night: we love snacking our way around the World at Epcot
Friday 10:30am: Tusker House breakfast with Tammi, Elizabeth, & families
Friday 7pm: Brown Derby
Saturday night: no plans yet
Sunday night: LTT 6:50 (we'll probably cancel because this is MVMCP night)
Monday: leave

Most of the time for breakfast, we'll eat at the resort. This trip really is just about resort and park hopping to see the Christmas decorations. We will ride very few rides.

Have you tried the new restaurant in Italy?

We enjoyed Spoodles & Flying Fish.

What about Jiko?

How about the tea at the GF?? We LOVED it!

Vicki - how about Olivia's at OKW. Then you could check out the resort while you are there.

I am trying to figure out ADR's myself for June...we are staying at AKL concierge...and the 180 mark opens in just a few days. I think we will not do the dining plan this trip and just eat less table service...

I agree with Theresa. I think that cookies, brownies and other finger type desserts would fit in with your theme.

Or Artist Point at WL. You have to see WL at Christmas.

Citricos or Narcoosee's?

Since you're staying at Saragtoga you should try the Turf Club. The food was wonderful. Don't forget to look up my favorite dream team member AR at MGM. Maybe she can make a dream happen for you too.

I wrote a letter last night to WDW on her behalf. Would someone care to proofread it for me?

Also does anyone have the snailmail address to mail it to?

Some of our favorites are Kona, Spoodles, & Cape May.

Oh AKL concierge!!!! Sounds wonderful!
Us too, the DDP is just way too much food. We are not doing it in April or August.

I know that after this trip, with the changes in the dining plan, we won't be doing it again. I'll be buying the DDE.

Has anyone tried 1900 Park fare since the rehab? I have that on our list for April but not sure if I should change. Right now I do not know what park we will be at on that day.
