Today is the 45 day mark for Dec. trip

I only have to go into work for a couple of hours today to do the order. Right now I am doing laundry & then I will pack the boys clothes. We are taking them to G'mas tonight. They will get spoiled the next few days

Gary told me this morning that maybe we could skip seeing KA & go to see La Noubia while at Disney. So we will see once we are there. Are there any AP discounts for the show at Disney?

That would be great. I did just order Nick boots on Overstock.com. I got him Lamar boots listed as regular price $179.99 for $60.00. We were ordering a bike rack so if we spent $125 we saved $25 so it made sense to purchase a pair of boots since eventually I will need to anyway.

Janet - They do run 25% off Tier 2 La Nouba tickets for AP holders but it isn't offered all of the time like discounts on tours and stuff. We wanted our choice of seats so I booked at the 6 month mark (a little before 6 mos., actually, because they put the dates up a little early) and paid full price. If they are going to put them on sale it is usually like 60 days out.

I didn't get on at all yesterday. We had so many things to do. I was at JcPenny's at 6 AM. After bowling Chris and I went to investigate snowboard equipment. We know NOTHING about it. The store sells packages, but I'm not sure if it is a good deal or not. I think I can do better online. If anyone knows anything about snowboard equipment please post your tips here. I guess I am most concerned with any brands NOT to buy. I'm told that for a beginner brand names are not important, but I don't want crap either. We're looking at Burton (expensive), LTD (much more reasonable) and a few other's, SIMs maybe? Lamar? HELP

Ok DDA cooks, please give me your fried chicken recipes.
We like fried chicken but I hate making it, (only made it once in 21 years of marriage) however I have decided to make it this weekend.

I don't know if this is too late or not, Heidi.

I usually marinate my chicken pieces in buttermilk for a few hours before frying. Then I dredge them in a mixture of flour, salt, pepper and paprika. Then I fry them a few pieces at a time. I let them drain on a wire rack with a paper sack underneath it.

I generally only do this a couple of times a year, as I really hate the mess that it makes. I also don't like to eat chicken on the bone. It really grosses me out!

I was just checking myself & didn't see anything. Beings it is around Christmas I doubt there will be any discounts. Looks like there are still seats available for the 26th. We have no dinner reservations this night, so this would be the best time for us to go.
