The news on my FIL is worse than we first heard. He has 3 blocked arteries and a bad valve. That has caused his kidney to have problems. They will have to do open heart surgery but can't now because of the kidneys. Chuck is heading over there tonight and the girls and I will head over tomorrow to see him.

 :grouphug:  I hope things improve for your FIL soon, Vicki, so that open heart surgery becomes an option again.

Elin-Maybe I should put the bike with your Christmas tree so it will be invisable.:rotfl: I'm going to bring it to my MIL's. We go there for Christmas. I bought a couple of Christmas table clothes, bells and garland at the new Dollar Tree to wrap it. I called the store today and they said the bike would be ready for pickup at 2:00 today so I'll try to go this weekend.

Bernadette - you are more than welcome to store the bike with my Christmas tree. There is loads of room there, I assume! :rotfl2:

Amy and Bernadette -- LOVED the Halloween pictures.

Amy - Alyssa looks so totally different with dark hair. Wouldn't she make a gorgeous Snow White???? ::yes::

Deb, I got the CD's today. Thanks. I'm looking forward to my next drive to Lansing so that I can listen to them. We may listen to them on the way to the hospital in Wausau tomorrow.

I'm loving all the kids in costumes. Thanks so much for sharing. Everyone looked wonderful.

Amy- I love the fact you go as a theme trick or treating...you have the cutest Lumiere I've ever seen:goodvibes ....and I would have probably guessed Kevin was a chicken too if all I saw was him.

Deb- I am not sure where the books/magazines are where my short stories are....my copies have been lost in the moves. :sad2:

it was pretty good--looking forward to tomorrow night 5pm--a whole weekend with NOTHING to do but watch football sunday!

how was your day?

fine we just stayed around the house and did nothing. I did manage to do 2 loads of laundry.

Thank you Deb I got my ornaments yesterday, but forgot to post. I still have to take pictures of them.

I am heading to bed. I am trying to get at least 8 hours of sleep, so I don't get sick.

Love the pictures, hope everyone is doing well

Stephanie & Terry, do you remember who made the Food & Wine Festival design that Chuck & I wore on this trip? I want to thank them. We got lots of compliments on them.

Chuck has a couple of funny stories about wearing them. While I was off getting something from one of the food booths, a man asked Chuck where he got his shirt. Chuck told him about me making them from designs on the board. The guy told his wife he liked that shirt and would wear that one. The wife got all upset telling him that it wasn't the "official shirt" and he was getting the official one. The guy or his wife didn't seem happy according to Chuck.

There was another woman that stopped us and asked. She made some comments about Disney probably not being happy with us because they were so much nicer than their shirts. We told her no one made money off them and they were for personal use only.

Please, I need just a little pixiedust, that my sore throat is just allergies and I am not getting sick.
Oh Heidi, I so hope it is just a tickle.:goodvibes

Glad to hear you are feeling better, keep drinking that water!
I'm still drinking water, craving wine. I've actually looked at the slip to make sure it says no alcohol with this strong antibiotic. Boo Hoo.

Terry you are such a good friend drinking Stephanie's share of wine so she does not feel left out :rotfl2:
Yes, that she is really good at. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Thanks for the good wishes everyone. I am home, but this time it was not so painless. :sad2: Who knew that the tooth he worked on today was the one that started all the trouble in the first place? Did you know that after time your canals can calcify and have to be found and then drilled out???

It still was only a one hour appointment (he is good!) but my mouth and jaw are killing me. I am eating oatmeal and it hurts. Hopefully the ibuprofen will kick in quickly because I do not relish teaching like this.
Hang in there Elin!!

Rees’ surgery will be tomorrow morning at 10:15am at Egleston, and we are to arrive at the hospital at 7:15am. I have no idea how long the surgery will last, but I promise to update you as soon as I can. I will post updates on the CarePage for Rees and send out an email with his room number.

You can reach me via email on my Blackberry. Thank you all so very much for your prayers, support, and friendship.

God bless~
Oh Denise, I will be thinking of you and Rees tomorrow. :goodvibes :goodvibes :grouphug:

Oh Vicki. Hugs for you and Chuck. I hope for strength in his kidneys, so they can do the surgery.

I'll have to look back at my originals and see. My first thought was Kate, but it might have been Momof2OH. The file is on my old desktop...:goodvibes

4 more weeks and I'll be back in Disney!!!:goodvibes

Secured my airfare tonight. Have to call and get Magic Express tomorrow!:goodvibes :santa:

I must do t-shirts. This is Brendan's first trip and it has to be special. He loves Buzz. I figure as soon as we get into MK, we'll go over to COP and see Buzz. :cloud9:

I'll be at EPCOT by myself on Friday the 30th. I'll go see the CP and also try to get on Soarin'. Walk around and see some of the father Christmases. Have a couple of :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

The family won't arrive until around 9:00 pm.

Okay, be truthful. How likely are we going to be surrounded by cheerleaders at ASMo's preferred building??:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I have got to get into trip mode. I just stuck my suitcase on my bed. Must refresh and refill!!!!:santa: :woohoo: :yay:

I really try my best to drink the wine!!!!!:lmao:

And you find the best wines!! :drinking1:

And the Marathon is the weekend of 11-13th. In other words, within the discount times. :rolleyes1

AndI think that is also MLK weekend, so no work that Monday....:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 Do I hear a Ding????

Amy - your costumes were great. How did you ever get Alyssa to keep the wig on her head?

Bernadette & Amy love the pictures from Halloween!
