Hi Tom! Hope things slow down for you soon!

Hi guys! I feel like I have gone MIA for awhile!

Everytime I try to log on, something else comes up, and I can't.

Been busy working overtime at the bakery. Have to get all those TONS of rolls ready to ship for the big holiday!

Me too. Goodnight Jennifer, and everyone else.

Well, my daughter has been asleep since 6:15. I think that i'm going to go take a chance of moving her to bed and got to bed myself. At this rate I may be up pretty early.

Night all!

Well, we are booked at Saratoga Springs for Dec. 13-17. The first night is a one-bedroom, the second a studio, and the last two nights are a one-bedroom. I have my plane tickets booked at $178 each (before tax). We get to Orlando by noon on the 13th and don't leave Orlando until 4:00 on the 17th. I need to call for ADR's (yeah, like that will be available). We are willing to just eat at the food courts but I'll give it a try. Chuck wants to attend the MVMCP party on the 16th. I'm waiting to find out when the DVC merry mixer is at Epcot. Someone thought they would be scheduled for the 6, 13, 20 & 27. If that is the case, we could make the one on the 13th.

I'm trying to make sure I'm set for my March trip and I'll be calling on that shortly to make my reservations. A one-bedroom was available at Old Key West when I was on the line making my Dec. reservations which is what I think we want. I just have to make sure we still have enough points left for June with my sister.

I do have a question for DVC members. My understanding is that if I make a reservation, I better make it for the least accomodations I want because if I end up changing to something using less points, I have to use those points in the Use Year (can't bank them) and I can't make reservations using them until 2 months before the scheduled trip. Is that correct? Is that for all DVC points or just my incentive points?

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

:dance3: :hippie:  :cheer2: So who got the milestone?

Woohoo! Vicki got the milestone on her birthday! :woohoo:

:cool1: :cool1:

Good plan. I honestly hate this time of year, it's just too busy and I never seem to really enjoy it. I think my biggest problem is that I have too many moving parts so to speak. Thanksgiving weekend was the only time I could do the dedication as that is when her Godfather will be in town. Her Godmother won't be here though :sad1: But we have Thanksgiving, the dedication, Emma's party, Hanukkah, and finally Christmas Eve. All of which will be here. Then we go away for Myrtle Beach for New Year's. And then Disney!!!

I am leaning towards muffins, danishes, fresh fruit, croissants and then ham and roast beef along with some other things.

What time of day? I'm thinking late morning or lunch based on your thoughts. For a light lunch I would suggest:

Finger rolls with rolled ham, tuna and egg salad. All can be done ahead and popped into the fridge.

Deviled Eggs are always a hit and easy

Pickle platter/plate

Sweet and Sour meatballs (pop into croc pot before ceremony and they would be hot when you want them)

Chips and Dip

I can give you other easy things, but need more info, time of day, # of people etc. We often do parties for 30 - 50 people and I can do it pretty stress free these days :rotfl:

Jennifer I'm glad that you liked the package. I guess we must be a shady bunch to take a box and put stamps on it to place in the mail :rotfl2: I certainly hope those rattles don't exploded in transit :lmao:

Sounds like the kind of stuff that we would have for our parties too. It doesn't have to take much work. Deviled eggs are definitely easy and one of the first things to go at our gatherings.

Thanksgiving I will be working, so we will be going over to sil's.

Christmas eve we will have dinner at LTT & spend the evening at MK. Christmas day we will have breakfast at 1900 Park Fare, resort hop & see the decorations & have dinner at Ohana's. We will end the evening with a sleigh ride at WL:teeth:

oh my Robyn,
no wonder your stressed. we are going to my moms for Thanksgiving, to moms for Christmas lunch. Christmas eve will be us and Jeffs dad here, then mornibg open presents and headed to my moms.

i can see it now..i turn on the news and there you are for putting stamps on the box!

Tom, was just thinking of you. Hope you can get the big roll order finished soon, and get back to some DISing.

Don't know why I am still up. :confused3
I should have left these pages until tomorrw, now I won't have anything to read in the am.

Oh I agree! I told the boys this would be the only time they would see their dad dancing :rotfl: Gary got a kick out of it himself!

My pleasure! I laughed loudest when I made my own. I think it was having Phil's picture in there as it is so not him to be silly like that. :rotfl:

Well, I think I'm off to bed. It was a wonderful day. Katrina came home so we could have my birthday dinner with all of us. I got a $50 gift certificate from Shopko. I had told them they didn't have to give me anything (after my cricut purchase and now DVC). We played with my cricut and I pieced together a cute Mickey & Minnie. Chuck made beef stroganoff because that was what I asked for. I didn't want a cake so we pulled a andes mint frozen pie from Schwans out of the freezer.

My sister and her kids called and sang me happy birthday. My mother called me at 6:18am which is when I was born. My brother called from Japan and I got to hear little Billy (18 months) babbling. My staff (the 7 greatest employees in the world) gave me a $25 gift certificate to my favorite restaurant in Marquette and the neatest card that they all put wonderful personal messages in. I got birthday cards in the mail from my mom, my favorite aunt, Chuck's aunt & uncle, my best friend, Chuck's brother's family and a couple more I can't remember.

Talk to you all tomorrow. We'll be going to Chuck's parents to help get some things done around the house. His dad is doing better. We just have to keep an eye on him.

Thanks to all of you for the birthday wishes. It was another great year! Thanks for being part of it.
