Hi everyone--
im home from work!!
My mom just called and said they were on the train on the way home from sloane kettering--when i asked how gpa was --no service! So now im waiting..so m cleaning and running around so i dont think about it ;)

I SUCK AT MATH. in high school i took remedial algebra and remedial geometry. i got A's in those classes. i figured regular math flows to fast and remedial to slow and i am somewhere in between. i had to take all 3 remedial math classes in college so dont feel to bad elizabeth. i then had to have a tutor through my 4 college math classes i had to take. took me 3 times to pass the tasp test for math. so i really suck.

I have my "sister" back as my attendant and we were out all day pretty much lol. i had a doctor's appt. then an interview and then we looked at an apartment and i liked it :goodvibes

I love math, too! Laura always tells me that I'm the only person other than math teachers who think word problems are fun. Now I can tell her that I "know" someone else who thinks math is fun.

I definitely agree with you on the last part, too.
Add me to your list. (and you've met me so you really know me;) ) I have a master of science in economics and unlike a master of arts which is pretty much all theory my degree is basically a degree in statistics. Unfortunately most days I feel like I've forgotten more than I ever knew.:rotfl: I was always pretty good at math except geometry.

The only class I ever really studied for in high school was geometry. My friend Terry who lives in FL and visits us on most trips is a physics professor (she has a doctorate in physics :scared1: ) was in my chemistry class in high school and she helped me out a lot. That was long time ago.;) WOW...now that I think about it we took it in our junior year so that was 30 years ago.:scared1:

The fact that they are on their way home sounds good.

its hilarious because whenever we are out in public we have at least 1 person ask if we are sisters. like today at the apt the lady showing us the apt ask desi if we were sisters. i'll have to get a pic of us side by side and post it for ya'll to decide. ok off to eat pizza

Hi everyone,
Crazy day here.

I called the moms for my 6th grade cathchism class & we can't all find a day of the week that "works" for everyone. (long story).

We had to pay out so much $ for that start & registration for Tae Kwon do, & the girls dance classes, Katies acting class (which is expensive), religion, school class mom $ (for parties), new clothes for the kiddies, (all the September start up fees as I like to call them) We even got the fundraiser packets already. For 3 kids it adds up & I don't need anymore wrapping paper for $10 a roll thank-you-very-much!:headache:

I had PT for my back today. Seems I have a herniated disk (which has been giving me quite a hurtin I can tell you!) Also my physical therispist said my skelaton is out of wack. Seems the right shoulder is higher than the left & the left hip is higher than the right. While she was telling me this & more I felt like I was Frankenstiens monster.

Elizabeth & Bernadette can vouce for me that I am truly human looking though!:lmao: I just felt like a mess.:sad1:

Poor Dana has had a load of work that I think is just pulling him under. He's sick & I know it is from the stress of work lately.

My BIl called today (the one who is a weenie) & annoyed the crap out of me & Dana. Thank heavens he & his wife live in AL or I'd go mad.

Ok thats my rant, thanks for listening & don't forget to tip your servers!

That sounds great! I hope it works out for you to have her back!:goodvibes
I passed math TASP on my first try, but only passed by about 2 points. I tested out of the first remedial class, but that left 2 for me to take before I could enroll in college algebra. I took the first semester and made A's all the way through, but I only made a "C" on the cumulative final because I was already starting to forget what I learned!:headache: After that they decided to add another level of remediation, so there were 4 instead of 3, which meant I would have to take 2 MORE semesters. I gave up after that because I had figured out that a degree wasn't going to be that useful!:rotfl2:

Evening everyone!

Marci enjoy all the sports this weekend, hope it does not get to hot!

Deb hope you are feeling better :wizard: Hope you all have a fun, dry weekend!

Beth sorry the meeting did not go as hoped. The principle sounds like things go her way & no other way :sad2:

Karen glad to hear you have your "sister" back!

Anne Marie  Hope Dana is feeling better soon :wizard:

Elizabeth how did ds day go at school?

Jen have you heard anything about your grandfather?

Jennifer hope you & Kyle have a magical, relaxing trip!

I read on the TPAS thread that there will be a Captain Jack meet & greet during the MNSSHP's. I hope this is true :woohoo:

I have been reading about the HM refurb also & I can't wait to check it out :cool1:

Do you know how hard it is to type while a kitten is walking all over your keyboard :rotfl:

i made either an A or a B in college algebra and an A in statistics. i dont know how in h*** i made an A in statistics because i was failing it BIG time.

Yes. Yes, I do!:rotfl2:
I am excited to see the "new" HM, too!

Anne Marie - Sorry your week is ending on a crummy note! DS isn't doing any activities right now but I am still reeling from all the supply lists! I hope your back feels better soon! My L4-L5 disk is degenerating, and when my back is really messed up I am lopsided - you can see it on x-rays. I feel lopsided too, which is kind of trippy. You don't look lopsided in the least, so don't worry! I hope Dana feels better soon! DH is finishing up a 14 day stint without a day off, so he can relate to the "too much work" feeling.

DS said his day was fine. He doesn't have any homework this weekend (that he admits). I picked up his new meds from Sam's so he'll start that tomorrow. (I checked the picture against the one on the internet and it matches, so I feel confident we have the right drug. Stephanie has made me paranoid.) I also picked up my prints from the Disney trip so I can put them in an album. Or not. I should wait for the PhotoPass pics and combine them.

OK. Time for dinner.

I just looked at a live blog for the party tonight & it was pouring! I hope it does not rain all night so Lindsay & everyone else there can have a good time.

Can you share the blog? I'd like to read it.

One of my neighbors is at the party tonight

Yes. Yes, I do!:rotfl2:

Thanks Elizabeth!!!!

Wow 14 days? That must be rough.

Glad DS's day was better today. Hopefully the meds will help & things will go more smoothly with the homework. Katie has a bad habit of announcing at bedtime that she has a test or project due the next day:eek: (that I have never heard about before)!

I would so love that!!! I won't read any of the HM threads. I want to be surprised! 33 days Janet!!!!!

Jen have you heard anything about your grandfather?!

Just did---The oncologist there confirmed that there is nothing they can do that will cure this cancer. They are going to try a 'mild' round of chemo to see if that will slow the spreading of the cancer. They will try that for 3 weeks, and if it doesnt help, they are going to discuss if they should try a stronger chemo or just do nothing.

Its just starting to hit my grandmother that he will die from this--they just dont know when..The oncologist did say that it is stage 4 cancer. so now we just wait

I can relate to all that. Except no calls from family.;) The kids start soccer tomorrow if it doesn't get rained out. I've been getting emails from all the coaches. Lizzy coach said cleets were optional and Emma's said they were required. I actually think Lizzy is playing well enough to benefit from them but if I get them for her I need to get them for the others. I think I'll wait and see how they do. We'll be getting 5 "discount cards" for each child that they are supposed to sell for $10 each. Who am I supposed to sell these to? Everyone we know is in soccer and family is out of town.

We've already got the wrapping paper package too.

:wizard: Good luck with your back!

Neither you or Anne Marie looked lopsided to me! :rotfl:
