she asked the dr so how many years do I have. When my mom told me this I laughed. as liver cancer is the deadliest she has months to a year is what the dr told her.



she originally went to the dr because she was having severe arthritis pain. the dr gave her steroids for that.

Idiocy is widespread, I'm afraid.
I hope the meds make Molly feel better. So the pediatric gastroenterologist didn't have any other ideas about what might be causing the issues? Could she be allergic to something?

When I was researching reflux, the one thing I found with similar symptoms was celiac disease. Has she been checked for celiac? Hope they find a solution soon.

Yes, I agree that not getting that kitty was probably the right decision. There are 4 different ones we are looking at now. There were 6, but DH said it is silly to compete with someone else over a kitten when there are several that we like equally well. So there are 4 that don't have any other inquiries on them right now.

well My mom just called and she said the Drs are pretty sure its liver cancer my grandma has. They are sending the biopsy to the mayo clinic for confirmation. it will take about 2 weeks to get the confirmation. My mom asked the Dr. if it was not cancer then what could it be and he said nothing. It is inside the liver not on the outside. not sure the exact name of the cancer she has.

Oh, Jennifer. I'm so sorry! I'll continue to pray for her! And you, too.

I got an e-mail from one of the moms I spoke to Wednesday. She wants to set up an interview! Unfortunately she didn't get the resume I e-mailed to her. I was so embarrassed - she thought I just forgot to forward it to her! But it is in my "sent" folder, so somehow it just didn't get to her inbox. Hopefully I will hear from her later tonight about setting up a time to meet.

I taught myself to check e-mail with my cell phone today. The only problem is once I read the messages on the phone they don't show on my computer. Not good.

I completed the application for the other cat rescue group, so now we'll see what happens with that. The first time I filled it out it ended up being blank when I tried to send it. I THINK I managed to submit a completed one the second time around, but I won't know for sure until she responds.

Oh, I'll keep my fingers crossed for the job interview! Which mom is this? The one with 2 kids or the 1?

I hope that things with this second kitty adoption go better!

Hey, where did everyone go?

I just got back from my sister's house. She is taking Katie's jeans (the ones that have holes in the knees), and turning them into cut-offs for our DL trip. Since they still fit Katie in the waist, I'm determined to get as much wear out of them as possible!

Came home, made tomato soup and grilled cream cheese sandwiches, and now I'm here! The kids are outside, enjoying the warm weather before bedtime, and I'm enjoying the peaceful house. I'll get a peaceful morning tomorrow, too. Alan is taking the kids shopping for Mother's day. Truth be told, the quiet house would be gift enough for me, but don't tell Alan I said that!

This mom has 3 children. The other one is still pregnant with her first baby. I haven't heard back from the pregnant one.

This mom has a DD6, DS3, and baby DS. Almost exactly like my current job, but with a baby, too. The mom is very nice. She said she likes e-mail because she can work on it when her kids are in bed, so hopefully she will e-mail me tonight! (And hopefully the 2nd e-mail I sent will actually find her!)

I have just been e-mailing the lady from the kitty rescue, but I am still not clear on what comes next. I asked her how long it would be before we could bring a kitty home but she hasn't answered yet.

I was very annoyed with one of my closest friends (or so she was) who on Daniel's communion day called me up & said she & her family (Dh & 4 kids) would not be coming. Her DD broke her leg a week before & decided that all 6 of them needed to stay home with her. Couldn't she have come with one of her other kids just to show her face? She is Daniel's godmother afterall.
Anyway, I was hurt at first but now I am just numb about it. She hasn't called me since & I am not sure how to proceed with this so-called friendship.

I ate too much today..totally off program so I have to get back on the wagon tom'w!!!

I would be furious, and hurt, and disappointed. That was REALLY inconsiderate of her! I can't believe as the godmother she didn't place a higher importance on attending Daniel's communion! If her child fell and broke a leg ON THE WAY to the ceremony that would be different. This is really just inexcusable.
