Hey Jen. I'm still here for a few more minutes. Chris snuck off to bed over an hour ago. He was in bed before Colby tonight. I have to call DVC tomorrow morning to change our last set of ressies. I also have a doctors appointment in the morning. SIL will drop Colby off at school. Then 2 appointments for the boys in the afternoon. I'm not really looking forward to tomorrow.

good luck with all the Dr.s tomorrow.

So I found out that the funeral is Friday at 2 PM. Nick and Hunter will each go to friend's houses after school and one of their friend's mothers has offered to keep Colby. They have a little boy that is a year older than Colby so they can play. Chris has to work so if there are any snafus Chris can run interference for me :thumbsup2

I awoke to the radio this morning telling of another soldier that died in Iraq. I heard a last name & where he attended school. I shot right up freaking out, asking dh if he heard the whole name. This soldier that died was 24 year old Daniel Miller Jr. He is the oldest son of a friend that I grew up with. I seen Robin(his mother)at work Friday & we were talking about Daniel. Robin was so proud of her son & what he was doing. I was telling her how strong she is having to deal with a child over there now. We talked for quite awhile & before she left we both promised to have lunch together soon.

I am crying so hard, I can't believe this happened. I know lot's of soldiers have lost their lives over there, but this is the 1st one that I have known. I feel so helpless & my heart is aching so hard for Robin.

Please pray for Robin & her family. She has a very rough road ahead of her. Daniel was the oldest of 5 children, plus 2 stepsiblings.

Hi Deb-Tomorrow sounds busy for you--is the dr for you ? is everything okay?
i hope it goes quick for you!

Just another follow up for my back. I really thought it was improving, but it started bothering me at the grocery store tonight and for a couple of hours after I got home. I just can't figure out what triggers it.

I am, but not for long. Just waiting for my crazy daughter to burn off some of this energy so that we can go to bed. Where it comes from I don't know. Of course, she has been sleeping until 9 or 10 the last few days so maybe that's it. Still energy to burn after sleeping so late. I've been sleeping in with her, but then that cuts into my productive time so I had better stop soon.

I need to stop staying up late and sleeping in too! I have a week left of break and its a HARD habit to break..ill start tomororw ;)

Good luck tomorrow. I hope they find something soon!

im glad that there are arrangements for the kids to play so you dont have to worry about it on Friday, at least.

I hope you can figure out whats wrong with you back--does it bother you after you exercise?

I should head to bed. I know that I won't want to get up tomorrow. Maybe Colby will sleep until 8 :goodvibes

No more, No less than any other time. It really seems to be when I'm on my feet for any length of time. Pinched nerve? I have no idea.

Does anyone know anything about Santa Claus, Indiana? Rachel's junior trip was making starting plans for their trip this summer at their meeting tonight. Mom had them pretty much leaning towards Branson, the better option on things to do, distance and cost. Out of the blue, one of the girls suggests Holiday World in Santa Claus, IN and it ended up winning by a vote of 7-5-1. Mom warned that she would have to check into the options there, price, etc. I have found the Holiday World site and that looks good as does the hotel the girl says she stayed at. Now we're just trying to figure out if there is enough to do for their 3 day trip.

What a relief to know that everything is taken care of at home so that you can be there for your family in their time of grief.

Deb,

I can so relate to your back pain.
Of course mine really started after the two car accidents. I was rear-ended in both. The last one was in 2004 and with an MRI they told me I have a bulging disc. I have to rely on my Tens unit or Lydoderm patches or a therma care wrap. Drugs help as well. It is really frustrating and sometimes I just want to sleep all day, but that hurts my back as well.
The whole time I was in WDW, walking was the best, but let me stop for a parade or something else and it just brings me down.
Hope you get some answers.

I think the next thing I might try is Accupuncture

never heard of it.

Neither had we. Apparently the girl's dad took her one time on the way to a family reunion. It was just so out of the blue that Mom was thrown off for a little bit. She says that she's too old to be thrown for a loop like that. :rotfl: There are some nice things about it just from looking at the website. The admission is reasonable plus it includes the theme park, waterpark, parking, unlimited soft drinks and unlimited sunscreen. :confused3

Tia have you started thinking of a theme for terra's Birthday party?

I like to plan early but not quite sure what I won't to do this year.
