Becky - Lands End was the first place I thought of, but that doesn't sound like it will work. You can order suits from them, and if they don't work you can return them to Sears, but you lose whatever you paid in shipping. Been there, done that.
There used to be a custom swimsuit shop called "Tan Fanny" in St. Petersburg, FL. My friend was going there to have a suit made, but that was almost 20 years ago (God, I am OLD!) so I don't remember many details!:rotfl:

I just googled long torso swimsuits and a bunch of sites came up. Here is one

I don't know of any, but I will keep an eye out for a solution for you. In today's day and age, there has to be someone out there that can custom-make a swimsuit!

Thanks for the ideas, I really appreciate it.:thumbsup2 Can you believe at both of those sites the long torso swim suits are still about 7 inches too short? :crazy2: :headache: I really think I am going to have to make my own or go the custom route, but many of the sites which claim to make custom suits have set size charts.:confused3 :confused3 The one I foudn you can mix and match the size chart my torso length is too long. I'm think gonna also read up on making my own.

It really is frustrating and its not like I'm that tall, I'm only 5'9". I thought it might get easier to find clothing the smaller I got and I am finding it really isn't the case. I thought I might be able to start enjoying clothes shopping and unfortunately it still isn't the case and since I am losing weight it has become a more frequent thing to try and find clothing and still just as frustrating.

:thanks::thanks: for listening to me vent I greatly appreciate it.:thumbsup2

Cute! What does the back look like?

Speaking of swimsuits, have you guys heard that Subway commerical on the radio? It cracks me up! The guy and his wife are at the drive-through. He orders a pot belly with a side of love handles and a double chin. She orders a bah-donk-a-donk butt, extra flabby for just $.49 more, and a side of thunder thighs. There is more to it as the girl taking the order offers them more stuff. It is SOOOO funny!:lmao:

I haven't seen the commercial, but I'd love to.

Here is the back of the suit

I've had some 2 piece suits that have long tops designs to create a skirt effect. Since you have a long torso they might work as a top that ends around your waist. I bet it would look cute too. I've owned many swimdress type suits in recent years.

Deb I like that suit and you will look fantastic in it. Congrats on your latest weight loss, you are so close to you goal.:thumbsup2 :woohoo: :woohoo: :yay: :yay: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Those weren't boy character's bowling. I had to be creative to make it look like they are. When I have time I'll try to do Daisy or Minnie

Deb

See...I couldn't even figure that out...I think my brain is fried!!

Something I wouldn't have thought of thanks for the idea. I may even be able to take a swim suit dress and cut the bottom out and match it with a set of swim suit bottoms. I really have to get out and start looking but till summer I will hopefully need a smaller size, but if I find something that works it can be taken in.

I'm holding off on buying a suit now too as I don't know what size I will end up being. Currently I can wear 10s and some 8s. I now need a women's small jacket and apparently they are hard to find. My goal was an 8 so I'm happy that I'm almost there, I still have alot of firming up to do though :yay: Unfortunately the stretch marks are here to stay and boy are there lots of them

Not fun!!! I hope that you can find something that will suit you (no pun intended) well without paying an arm and a leg.

Hey Jen. I'm still here for a few more minutes. Chris snuck off to bed over an hour ago. He was in bed before Colby tonight. I have to call DVC tomorrow morning to change our last set of ressies. I also have a doctors appointment in the morning. SIL will drop Colby off at school. Then 2 appointments for the boys in the afternoon. I'm not really looking forward to tomorrow.

Hi Deb-Tomorrow sounds busy for you--is the dr for you ? is everything okay?
i hope it goes quick for you!

So im finally all caught up--i hope people are still around :)

I am, but not for long. Just waiting for my crazy daughter to burn off some of this energy so that we can go to bed. Where it comes from I don't know. Of course, she has been sleeping until 9 or 10 the last few days so maybe that's it. Still energy to burn after sleeping so late. I've been sleeping in with her, but then that cuts into my productive time so I had better stop soon.
