so if I got 150 and used 120 in 08 the other 30 has to be used in 09 right.

Let's see if I can explain this clearly.

If you have 150 points in use year 07, you can bank any amount of those but they must be used in 08. So say you bank all 150 of your 07 points, then in 08 when you get another 150, you now have a total of 300. Now, you can also borrow from your 09 use year, which would give you up to an additional 150 pts. So you could conceivably have 450 points to use in 08. But if you borrow those points from 09, when 09 gets here, you don't have any points coming.

Does this make sense?

Yes, you can bank those points into your next use year.

Or, you could always try to rent them over on the rent/trade board!

We got our booklet from the IRS today. The anticipation makes me giddy! I told DH I am going to sit and read this whole booklet, just to see what it says. It will help pass the time while we wait for our stupid W2's!

You can always download it now and play around with it, to get a feel for the system. If an update one comes out, uninstall it and download the new one.
