Here's a mini recap of our trip:

Sunday: Arrive, head to MK for a Dole Whip
Monday: Head to MK for a Dole Whip
Tuesday: Head to MK for a Dole Whip while wearing a birthday button
Wednesday: Head to MK and have TWO Dole Whips - after all we will be leaving and don't know how long it will be until we get another one!!

Great trip report skunka... now I'm wondering why mine are so long... :rotfl:

Tuesday was high 80s and cloudy - but not a problem! We went to the MK early so that I could get my birthday button and we walked leisurely around Main Street. We ran into the man that made us Grand Marshals in April and had a very nice chat with him. He even helped us to spread the magic - but I can't say more than that right now! After the MK we went to see our DVC rep and had such a nice time with him. We even learned more about the DVC -- did you know we can go to a week in Hawaii for 140 points for a one bedroom for a whole week???? Looks like I may get my dream some day!! After seeing Scot we did something that we could have never done with DS. We went to Epcot - headed over to Rose and Crown and had ourselves a couple of beers!! It was one of the greatest things we could have done. We just had a blast. There was a piano player and if you go, make sure you see some of the bartender Carl's bar tricks. It was fun. Then we headed to LeCellier for my birthday dinner. The cheese soup was excellent again and I loved my dinner. They brought out a beautiful decorated plate with some chocolate mousse - I'll post a picture in a minute. We ended the evening with Illuminations -- one of the greatest birthday's I've ever had.

Wednesday - 70s and absolutely NO humidity. It is always our tradition to end a trip with breakfast at Kona Cafe and then into the MK. So we spent most of the day there, people watching, having a wonderful time. But, by this time in the trip, I was exhausted. I now have a sunburned face because I actually fell asleep in FantasyLand!! There were tables over by Dumbo and we sat for a bit, and next thing I knew - I had been asleep for nearly a half hour!! How sad is that????

Soon it was time to head back to reality. We did try Chick Fil-A at one of the airports -- its really all a blur -- and then headed home happy and in need of a rest.

Just a couple of more notes in a minute...

It all sounds wonderful! You look very happy and relaxed in your pics. I guess my hopes of a birthday like that are pretty slim since I can't even get my hubby to WDW let alone taking me alone for my birthday. Oh well! ;)

WOW!!!! $624000 for a 3bdrm??!! I guess that would be the going price for city limits of Atlanta.....I just don't know I would want to live there.

This huge floral arrrangement just arrived at my work. The card says:

To my DW-
Love you!
From your DH...

He used the DIS abbreviations! I thought that was too cute, and wanted to tell you again how much I appreciate this forum and being able to express happy as well as sad or frustrating things to my friends. :flower1:

Oh that's so cute  WTG Mr Marci :)

Hope you're feeling ok - and your DH for that matter - and that things will be better for you now :grouphug:

Midnite - I'm shocked at how your daughter was treated and hope it all works out ok.

CAn I just ask what "pulling the strip" means?

Well preparing for another long night. DH and I put Ephram to bed last night at 9 and he managed to cry until 1AM :guilty: I kept patting his back and talking softly while he was in his bed than leave come back after a little bit, etc. I think I cried harder than he did. Hopefully, tonight goes better as I have a horrible migraine/nausea and don't know if I can manage. Our DS Zachary finally got to the eye dr. and now has to wear a patch and glasses. He didn't even like me trying to put the patch on, so this seems like it's going to be rough the first couple days. Next, we have to schedule Zack to see a specialist about the autism testing he had at school. What I wouldn't give for a sunny day to cheer me up. :sad2:

Marti and Paul Glad your trip went well.
Hope everyone gets over these illnesses.
And as far as the weight I put a whole bunch on after delivery. A year later found out my thyroid wasn't working, now trying to get the medication levels right and diet at the same time.

Sorry for not posting earlier when you asked, but I couldn't remember the name of the book. I have several friends that swear by a book called The No Cry Sleep Solution. I'm not a believer in "cry it out", but also have never tried any other methods since DD sleeps with me for now. This book has gotten rave reviews from several friends who tried several methods, but didn't want to go to a full cry it out way. Good luck! I hope that tonight is better for you all.

Thanks Denise, My Best Friend turns 40 in February. This is Perfect!!

Now anyone have any great gift ideas? I'd like to do something nice.

I've just spent the day in my wedding dress again - we had a vow renewal at the registry office for DH's parents - it was a surprise for them - they thought we were having a family portrait session at a studio and DBIL took them to the registry office to meet us. It was a lovely ceremony and we went for dinner after. It was freezing cold outside so we didn't get many pictures - but the ones we got were nice. DB was the photographer. Here's a link if anyone fancies a look: http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2111788297

:)

Oh and my DB finally gave me his wedding pics - so I have uploaded those too... careful there are quite a few!

Tom -- that is a fabulous picture of your daughter. She is just so photogenic and the outfit is so cute. Exactly what I'd buy for my nieces if I saw it!

Hope your family continues to stay well for your trip!

When Kate and my family were here last week, they were giving Brian (12) a hard time about his shaggy hair. Then we went to his Basketball game. they all apologized and said his hair was the shortest there!!! :rotfl2:

Clare -- I loved the pictures!!! I think you both look so relaxed and happy - none of the pressure from the "first" wedding. I'm going to take a look at the other pictures in a minute.

By the way -- could you buy me one HP Sauce and about six Curley Wurley's ???? We tried in England in Epcot and they hadn't had Curley Wurleys for about six months. :guilty: Let me know how I can pay you.

Thanks!
