Night Glynis!

Well, I'm outta here until tomorrow. Alan's laptop bit the dust, and while it's being fixed, he wants this computer. Luckily, he has to go to work tomorrow, so I'll be back uninterrupted!

Talk to y'all then!

Hi Deb. How was work? How much decorating did you get done today?

Work was quiet and I kept thinking that I could be home getting something done. I had to remind myself that I was doing them a favor as the usual girl had a concert to attend.

I just keep picking away at the decorating. Eventually I will get it done. We put the tree in front of the slider this year so you can see it very well from outside too. I really like it there.

I think my mother likes the way I decorate because when I stopped by tonight she had her bathroom decorated in a snowman theme and she had candycane lights outside :rotfl: Isn't there an old saying the imitation is the best form of flattery?

I'm caught up now. So does anyone think we'll hit a milestone tomorrow. It has been so quiet today it makes me wonder. Hopefully we won't be so busy in real life and get a chance to DIS.

I do not work tomorrow, so I can help :Pinkbounc

Ok, patience it not one of my virtues. I was so intrigued by Glynis' mention of caramelized bacon that I googled it. It sounds delicious.

INGREDIENTS

1 1/4 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pound sliced bacon

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a shallow bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Dip bacon slices in the brown sugar mixture to coat, and arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake 8 minutes in the preheated oven, turning once, until dark golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Hi Elin! Unless someone starts posting away, I don't think we will get the milestone till tomorrow. Been pretty quiet around here.
