I just came back on to get one last hoorah in before I left in the morning...no way I will have time to check in then.

Please don't be too chatty for the 6 days I am gone. :rotfl2: Ahhhh who am I kidding I'll come home to tons of pages and will love every minute of the catch up.

Can't wait to meet some of you on Saturday!!!

I get to quote myself!! Couldn't fall back to sleep so decided to do something quiet and come DIS!!

I hate flying not because I don't think it's safe, I do...I used to help do PR for the Air Force I know planes are safe. I also know travelling in a car is safe too(usually). I think I would be stuck in my house forever if my desire to travel didn't every once in awhile beat out my desire to stay in my own house. I hate crowds, small places, heights and most airline employees :teeth: .

I posted two main dishes and two desserts, now two dips.

First one is for chips.

Taco Dip:
1 can refried beans
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 package taco season
black olives (how many depends on you)
1 medium tomato
1 medium onion
Sharp cheese, shredded
Tostitos Chips

Chop small the olives, tomato, and onion.

Mix together the mayo, sour cream and taco season. Spread on a platter. Spread on the refried beans and add the olives, tomato, and onion. Sprinkle cheese over all.

Note: Make this a day ahead to allow the flavors to combine.

Thank you.
I just found out that the loan officer that I was planning on getting a lot of her business.... well she shot me down a bit and said she knows so many notaries that I might have been a waste of my time. So I am now a bit depressed. Oh well it was a nice idea, something else good will come along.

There are plenty of opportunities for Notaries....you will be able to advertise your services, with my job I can't but I am okay with that. The right thing/job will come around for you...I just know it!!

It sounds like she isn't a very nice person....

I'm sure it wasn't a waste of time. Maybe a better notary opportunity is on the horizon!

Well then they are yours!! My girls are moving out of the Mary Kate & Ashley stage :guilty: and they are out of the Sesame Street stage so I don't have my babies anymore.

This one sounds yummy!!
The next time I make krautburgers I will have to put the recipe here...it's the only original recipe I have!!!

Theresa -- I posted on your birthday thread, but wanted to tell you Happy Birthday here as well! Have a fantastic tripi!

UUUGGGGHHHH...... They just said we will have a heat index of 105 or higher today. I shouldn't have been listening to the news.....even though I know it is hot every day, actually HEARING the temperature makes it seem so much worse!

Now for an appetizer, I only have one.

Cocktail Sausages

2 cans (8oz- Pillsbury) Crescent Rolls
48 cocktail sized sausages
Ketchup, mustard, pickle relish (for dipping)

Heat oven to 375º, separate both cans of dough into 16 triangles.

Cut triangles lengthwise into thirds.

Place a sausage on the shortest end and roll up to opposite point.

Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375º for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown, switching position of cookie sheets 1/2 through.

Serve warm, with the ketchup, mustard and pickle relish for dipping.

Thank you all for my birthday wishes!!!

I feel so loved :goodvibes

Cassidy just woke up also....she couldn't fall asleep last night and up with me this morning...I think she may be excited to see her Ama!!

So tonight that news report with Disney money saving tips was on - and OMG - I could not believe how horrible it was -

it started out showing the DISNEYLAND castle for WDW - her big suggestions on saving money were to buy souveniors at Wal-mart before you go and to stay at Fort Wilderness or the Villas to save money on food and only have table service at lunch -

she had a DVC bag - so I am sure that she is a member so that makes sense for her - but if you were truly budgeting - it is not a good option -

he said that if you buy multi-day tickets - you can enter the parks at 6 am!!! ***?!!?!?

I sent him an email tonight - here is what I wrote: I think you will be able to see what other innacuracies he had

Coming soon to the local news, Kate with money saving tips for Disney! :rotfl: And then people wonder why Disney is so expensive when there are reports on TV like this.

This one is not for the kiddies to try.

Creamsicle Drink

1 cup Cool Whip
2 Scoops Orange Sherbet or Creamsicle Ice Cream
2 cups Orange Juice (real juice not concentrate)
4oz Vodka or Cream De Coco (light color)

Put all ingredients into a blender and mix.
