Thanks for the offer. I just have to spend some time with her to make sure she knows she has our support in whatever path she takes. She is struggling with what to do with her life. So many people her age have a direction and she just doesn't yet. I was the same way so totally understand but she is stressing over it. Plus, she doesn't have the best set of friends. People tend to take advantage of her - I had the same thing at her age! Of course, knowing that she is like mom doesn't help!

PD and prayers that she finds her path sooner than later. It is just hard sometimes, I hope you can find it in yourself to know when to hold back and let her do the things she needs to for herslef. I know I had a few hard times, but my mom let me figure a few things on my own and when needed she was there to pick me up. I am so glad she watched what she did, I learned a lot from that.

every now and then you should just look at the door and say Hi dad are you around today. Maybe he will let you know he is.

Beth - I hate calling too! And being a TA we do call the airlines alot. Once you get to a certain "level" you can actually get to someone that understands you and you understand them. I've learned to call and if I'm not getting what I want from the call to just ask for a supervisor or someone else. 99% of the time, they accomodate.
Here's hoping they don't change them AGAIN! (Or mine! I like mine! Even with the 35 minute connection in ATL going down!)

I just got an email from Lynn. She said she really needs prayers for her family. She did not give me any specifics, but did say there was MAJOR turmoil in her immediate family and that's why she hasn't posted lately.

She also wanted me to pass on congrats to Amy and Kevin.

Well, I borrowed a friend's steamvac, so I'm off to clean the carpets/furniture. I hope it works, and that I don't ruin anything!

come on over and clean my carpets Tammi. Oh then you could visit your family (removed a bit I think) in Wheatland.

My friend had her first in November last year, went into hospital at about 3am and was home with baby by 10am! They told her that if she has another she probably won't even make it to the hospital in time as labour is quicker the second time around.

In fact come to think of it my boss' wife was the same with her second.

Policy at our hospital is that the baby must stay for at least 48 hours. Well DUH then the mom stays just as long.

I know that most of you already know about these, but it was new to me until one of my coworkers gave me one today. I can honestly say I have NEVER seen one before! I love having a new Mickey Mouse!
