Matthew is here!!!!!! :jumping3:

He was born at 10:17pm (EST) and weighs exactly 7lb. They're not sure of his length yet, they're going to measure him when they bathe him.

She was still 3-4 cm when she got to the hospital, and didn't get a room until 5:30. Once they broke her water she only had an hour and 10 minute labor, and around 3 pushes. He wasn't reacting well so the Dr. used the vacuum to get him out. The cord was wrapped around his neck but he is fine.

Amy sounds absolutely wonderful for having a baby less than an hour ago!

She asked me to post since it was so late on the east coast.

Hopefully we'll see some pictures soon!

And he got his 7/7 birthday!

That is great news. I'm so glad that he made a speedy appearance. We should make a list of milestones that happened today that she can include in his scrapbook. I haven't watched the news, but I know that Pirate's of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest opened today. Does anyone else have a news headline, top song of the day etc to add?

Goodness no!!!!

He might just commit us all!!! But we could all hang out together and as long as part of our therapy includes going to Disney world WITHOUT any planning :faint: that would be okay!!

Seriously - could you all imagine if someone said to you today - we are leaving at 10:00 tomorrow morning for WDW - a limo will pick you up outside your home - how seriously panicked would you spend the next 12 hours?!?!!?!?

outside of some great t-shirts with cool designs, I could make this happen. I have a olastic bin I keep things I find along the way (disney stuff for the girls from Tink or whom ever drops it off). I have been known to power pack (not my favorite, but it can be done). From day one of traveling with the military I have gone with "buy it if you need it" because you never knew where the plane would need to land or break. Did I tell you all our plane broke in Adack (sp) Alaska once, wow was that a fun filled night of folks who had not planed to stay in Alaska.
bring it on! I can do it!

Doesn't their last name have 7 letters, too?
Yep!!!!!

I can't remember the middle name they chose - but she is going to have to change it if it doesn't have 7 letters!!!!!!!!

I guess his favorite characters will be the 7 dwarves!!!! :rotfl:

So, Vicki - who's running the remote controls on BOTH Jeeps at once? One remote vehicle is tricky enough, without trying to run TWO at a time!!

Well, they run them themselves, of course! :lmao:

Actually one of the jeeps is going to be a gift for my niece. I want to buy her a new barbie and some outfits for her 6th birthday in September. When I saw they were selling two jeeps together on eBay, I just had to buy them - one for me and one for her. In the mean time, the two mice can have their own set of wheels!!!

Welcome Welcome Matthew to this crazy wonderful family (DDA).
Amy get some rest we all love ya.

We all want to go see the new Pirate's movie so we are watching the first one now to get us in the mood. Hopefully we'll get to see it tomorrow if it isn't sold out. The boys do really well with movies and can separate reality from the movie. They never have bad dreams as a result of anything they watch so I'm sure they'll be going with us. Colby could care less and is sleeping now.

Speaking of obsessions.......

with all of the drama that is going on in my life, a great idea popped into my head today, while I was thinking about what will be coming down the road. Plans were for me to retire in Spring of 08. Now I don't know if I will be able to afford to do this, and not have something to supplement my retirement.

Well, what if I sold our house and moved to FL and worked for the Mouse?!?!?! What better job could there be to add income? The market in FL can't be as expensive as it is here, right? Sounds crazy, right?

Now I know all of you are saying 'do it' 'do it', and I hope it is not just so you will have a free place to stay when you go to disney. :teeth:

yes that would be great.... BUT....... is that the best for you and the kids? I do not want to be a downer, but I am a fan of the pro and cons on a sheet of paper, seal it in an envelope and bring it back out in 6 months to review, if the winner from 6 months ago is still the winner, then go with the winner.
Keep those ideas coming!

My credit card company emailed me today that I can get my credit card personalized for free. All I have to do is upload a favorite picture. I'm thinking of doing it with my signature Goofy picture. What say you all?

FABULOUS!!!

I was thinking of going to bed after the movie, but with a milestone coming up I know the posting will go into frenzy mode and It will take too long to catch up tomorrow.
