The Days Do Disney Pre Trip Report

Me (Rachel) 40 love all things Disney Still a big kid
DH (Kevin) 39 - but looks older than me and has been driving me nuts over this Disney holiday
DD (Lauren) 15 - currently in Spain with grandparents getting her pre tan

We were in Disneyworld last year and didnt think Lauren would want to go on holiday with us again, we thought that would be the last time she would want to go to Disney - stupid me - I didnt realise as we were paying she would always want to go So we booked up last October to go this August - I am going to fry going this time of year

We go are going to the Gatwick Hilton the night before on 26th August and then doing check in the day before.

We fly with Virgin on the 10.45 flight on 27th August and we are staying at GF for 7 nights with free dining and cant wait. We stayed at AKL and GF last year and DD wanted to go back to GF - she has expensive tastes, especially when it isnt her money

28th breakfast at Crystal Palace and dinner at O'hanas
29th dinner booked at Citricos
30th dinner booked at Jikos
31st dinner at Flying Fish
1st we are not eating today Only joking we have afternoon tea at GF
2nd dinner at California Grill
3rd breakfast at Ohanas

........... oh and in amongst that we are going to the parks

Yes she has already said she wants to get married at Disney - we went to the Pavillion last year and found out it is actually cheaper than having a wedding here. Lauren has said she wants to get married either at Disney or Blenheim Palace

Your DD sounds like mine, though mine is only 5 she already has expensive taste in hotels unfortunately she will have to make do with a Mod this year after a very expensive trip to DLRP!

Your daughter sounds like me when I was her age. My parents wouldn't have taken me to that nice a hotel though! Have a fab time.

We overlap by one day. We too are staying at the Hilton the night before and getting the 10.45 virgin flight into Orlando but two weeks earlier.

Went to GF for my 40th Birthday. We really liked the Cafe.

Getting excited now as not many nights sleep before we go - Im too excited to sleep - going back to the most magical place on earth

Dropped the dog off - she didnt even look back to say bye = she loves the kennels she goes to

Hubby wont budge until the grand prix is over and I am itching to leave the house and make our way to Gatwick! But as we have checked in on line we dont need to rush

House is so tidy I am wondering if I am in someone elses house

Have a wonderful time! We love the GF too and I wish my DD would agree to getting married at WDW. Much as she loves all things Disney, she's never seemed interested in the prospect of the Cinderella coach or having Mickey and Minnie at her reception...
