Today we have planned to go to Epcot.
Yet again we get up to Mickey and Stitch on the phone and send Kevin to Gaspirillos to get grapes and doughnuts for breakfast, as well as refill the mugs
We arrive early at Epcot and head straight for test track which is down
So we head straight to The Land for Soarin. There is hardly anyone there - I dont think American's get up early!
We love this ride. After this we check out the boards and it advises that Test track is now working so head straight over and get on that within 15 minutes. I remember last time we took Lauren on this she cried right up until the fast speed section - now she really loves it and we cant get her off it!
She then tried out all the cars - but was upset that she couldnt get in the Hummer
As we had done the 2 rides we wanted to get out of the way we walked around leisurely and bump into 2 people who we recognised from the boards - Debs and Matt. It was funny because I was thinkng that we would probably miss them as they were leaving that day
and there they were taking pictures.
We walked with Debs and Matt to World Showcase and said goodbye to them at the Rose and Crown - I think Matt was having a quick one before the journey back to Miami airport
We had bought Lauren a passport to go round the world this time which she enjoyed as several Countries spelt her name in their language. We had a great morning at Epcot.
We decided that we didnt want to eat at Epcot for lunch so decided to go to MK and Peco Bills for burgers with the toppings bar. We really liked the burgers and I had loads of mushrooms from the toppings bar. Just as we sat down to eat there was a really heavy shower and everyone piled in and sat at tables, even though they were not eaten, which annoyed me as there were families who had food and had no where to sit and eat
It didnt rain for long and the paths were steaming when we left Peco Bills We walked around the park and after reading the snack threads here decided I had to try a Dolewhip - we all liked the dolewhip which we thought was very refreshing.
We went back to our hotel room and decided to play cards - we like to play fish and decided who ever lost had to refill the mugs Kevin always loses so it was a bet Lauren and I were confident on
We were eating at Citricos tonight so gave ourselves plenty of time to get showered and dressed up for our first 2TS meals. We were disappointed with this meal and the waiter was not attentive at all - so next time this will not be on our list of places to eat again. We were disappointed especially as it is a restaurant in our hotel!
After our meal we go to the dock and watch wishes and the water pageant which is really lovely as you can hear the music being played in.
