The Daily Grind ~9/2/11~

Never went out yesterday... I started not feeling so good
DH promised we would go out for a nice dinner at the beach this weekend.

My list for today:

everyday...sigh...

Pack for the beach

Leave around 1ish for the beach

Be back on Tuesday...

today:

put another coat of paint on Megan's old night table (got her a new one with shelves) to repurpose it for my entry way.
swiffer floors again....where does all the stuff come from
print off mousekeeping envelopes - need to do something for our tirp, this no planning thing is getting to me
go through our books for Christy's book drive!
getting my drapes installed today, so excited not to have "naked" windows anymore in the living room - need to move all the furniture, etc out of their way!
work on pin swap
dinner - garlic chicken

Woohoo! The Beginning of a weekend off.

Couple of things to do.

Head downstairs.
Finish up chore chart, DBF finally took the phone jack off the wall where I want to hang it.
Have to run to the PO and the bank today.
Finish up swap
Work on laundry
Dinner- not sure yet

Hope everyone had a good day.. DH and I spent the day together... they are no off to see DsS17 play in his game tonight.. I'm home waiting for my mom to arrive.. she is staying the night and then hitting all the kids' activities tomorrow!!!

My last school day for 3 weeks - LindaBabe, MomE (Lisa CT's mom) and I leave for Barcelona on Tuesday to see this incredible city, then the cruise begins on Sat. Knowing we will have a spectacular time and hoping no hurricanes follow us across the Atlantic as the Magic heads for St Maarten, Tortola and Castaway Cay (if they are able to make repairs from Hurricane Irene in time).
I am pumped, just plain excited for this adventure!! Now to finish packing......
