The Daily Grind ~ 8/8/14

Good Morning!

Well, we got PJ settled in at campus.. We unpacked where she wanted things and she was going to finalize and set her system up that she prefers..she just wanted to send any boxes, totes, bags home so that we had them for DS18. The rain held off until we were shopping and then the ride home as tradition holds! Luckily this year no tornado warnings on the drive home!
I miss my baby girl already... I texted her last night and told her she really owed me because I was surrounded by all boys! BLECH! She texted back one of her famous one liners and I was in stitches! She is a hoot... then of course her Dad says something dumb and without missing a beat she borrowed the Big Brother and called him a "Fruit Loop Dingus"... LOL

send DH off to work

check email/fb/DIS
nap for an hour
go to bank

check status on DCI band that is at our HS
work on the last 2- 4H pages to bring DS13's book current; get them into their album
finish svg file that has been giving me fits for 2 weeks
DS18 home from work
lunch
scrap 2004 Christmas
pull papers for 2005 & 2006
clean off scrap desk and file away scrap papers into their folders
write goals for Saturday
DS13 to football
clean bathroom
strip DD's bed and remake
pick up DS13
dinner
scrap - 1 LO of 2005

Woke up at 5:45 to lightening flashes and the house shaking with thunderstorms. Everything just died down about 10 minutes ago and DH is still sleeping! Don't know how he managed to sleep through all that noise, haha!

Dinner was awesome last night! DS had a great time and was extremely embarrassed when the waitstaff sang to him. DS says thanks for the birthday wishes!

call CPA - guess my taxes are finally done! bonus they reworked my 2012 taxes also and looks like one of my investments didn't send in the correct info and will be getting a very nice refund back

head back to LSS - not sure how long I'll work tonight, have a couple other ladies coming in today to help so sorting will go quicker!
