Wow!! August is over already!!! What in the world happened to it???? :confused3

I'm currently completing the LAST of the state books so that DS10 can take them into school tomorrow!!:worship::cool1::yay:

I have been up since 5am accomplishing tasks since PJ had the morning shift for work and had to be gone by 5:45am... I'm glad this 5AM mornings are only 3 days a week and this is purely her spending money for the year..(until Nov when she gets more hours!)

Today:

sweep and mop dining room
dust family room/entryway
kids off to school/meetings
scrapbook (goal 8 pages) 5 pages now time to eat

DS10 ready for soccer practice
DH and DS10 out the door for practice
pick up DS15 from practice

grocery/shopping list

There is more on the list but these are the MUST dos for today!

Hope everyone has a great day!!!:wizard:

Kiddos off to school.
Laundry in.
Dishes started.
Will take nap soon - we have a rabbit that is tormenting the dogs. They don't bark at much, but this rabbit, dang, they won't stop. I chase it away and it comes right back. No nest, I searched. Not sure what the problem is. Had to keep the dogs inside the last two nights because I don't want neighbors to call about the barking. Means Mommy got to try to sleep on the couch with whining and scratching at the door dogs. WooHoo, not. :rotfl2:
Shower.
Pick up kiddos from school early.
Allergy shots
OutBack for Little Bit's double digit birthday dinner tonight. No more babies in this house.

Happy birthday to Little Bit! Double digits is rough (for mama).

What day is it? I'm at work. Still don't have any power. I've about had it. Stupidity is rampant on my street, one neighbor got a generator and had a complete meltdown it when it ran out of gas (at 11:00 pm right outside my window), and the other tried to use a camp stove INSIDE and started a fire. I'm exhausted.

Morgan started school today. I did take some pictures, I'll share later if I have time. Can't believe she's in 6th grade. (She showered at my sister's last night, and had a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast). She only goes today and tomorrow, but she's going to have to buy lunch.

I'm rambling.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning all!
continued prayers for all still dealing with the mess of Irene :goodvibes

Nan, way to go finishing up those cute state albums!
Happy Birthday Lil' Bit!!! bummer about the rabbit and dogs!

Nan- congrats on finishing!
Happy Birthday to Little Bit! Hope you can get some rest today too!
Jennifer- Hope they get the power back on! And hope your neighbors don't get any more stupid!

Today is my last work day of the week! Tomorrow is my anniversary, special dinner out planned with DH. And Friday to the beach till next Tues :teeth:

Today was bills and stuffs...

Work @3p

Have a great day everyone!

Stupid neighbors. THAT is why the Red Cross recommends two weeks of supplies and that you should know HOW to use your emergency equipment. Knowing that you need to refill a generator - Self Reliance 101 man.

Hope your power comes on soon!

They are not the brightest bunch, I know that. It's just one thing after another lately...

Here's my big girl. You can see the feathers in her hair.

Thanks, she was nervous, as she usually is, but excited too. She's supposed to call me when she gets out and goes to the library to wait for DH.

Happy birthday to Lil' Bit :)

Morgan looks so cute! Love the hair and her glasses ;)

I can't get over the stupid things some people do! Yikes!!!

Happy double digit birthday, Little Bit. :cool1:

Have a great school year, Morgan. She looks so cute for the first day of school. :goodvibes

We had talked about doing the Seal Tour at Monomoy Island, in Chatham but when I called this morning they were trying to get the boat back into the water today, we'll try again tomorrow.

Attend a DEP meeting involving our little village and a big development company who put in 21 condo's across the pond. They want to put in a dock with a beach. Hm, folks, do you know there are snappers in that pond? :scared1: One of the first things we learned as kids summering here is Thou Shall not swim in Lake Elizabeth.

Go to Home Depot to get a new grill. Ours had a meltdown (literally) last night as I was cooking on it. The knobs starting melting right off. :scared1:

Help DH put together said grill. We were cooking right along until the sprinkler system went on.:headache::rotfl2::rotfl2: Dh was not amused but I just :rotfl2:

Read
Dinner - steak, cucumber salad, corn on the cob
Trip to CVS
Trip to Michaels:rolleyes1 They had a few cricut cartridges for $19, Robotz, Preserves, Nursery Rhymes
Hopefully watch Project Runway

Lisa our grill did that one time...scary huh!

travel agent went well....3 hours later and we are booked!!

leaving on Friday night instead of Sat morning....saving $4600.00 in airfare leaving, even with getting a hotel in Honolulu is still saving my mom $4,000.00 with 9 of us going mom was happy to save that kind of $$...flight home will be a bit tough...leaves 9pm honolulu and arrives 6am seattle, all agreed to the flight, so we just have to figure out our excursions!

know we all want to do Pearl Harbor, doing a luau on Maui, Megan and I are ziplining in Hilo and my one brother wants to do Dolphin Quest on Maui.

so watch out HI, the crazy Birch/Blakeny/Berland clan is heading your way:rotfl:
