Morning!!

Hope all is well with everyone! I think it is going to be very quiet on the CC the next few weeks with everyone on vacation, getting kids ready to go back to school, and life keeping everyone busy!


Lisa -- I know you are not on but continued prayers and safe travel!
Becky -- hope it is another beautiful day!
Chae -- how are the temps? We are in mid-80s and gorgeous!
Rebecca -- congrats again. You must be getting so excited!!


Today's agenda:

balance ckbk
paybills
DH to take DS to football
DH to farm lot to see if he can save any of the cucumber plants
town for errands see if DH is going and if so give him the rules.. "If it isn't on the list; it's not going in the cart!"
big kids off to work
big kids to call when they get to their destinations after work (DD is going away for weekend and I am stressed out because she has to drive in a crazy area to meet up with her friend.. .. DS19 is going out w/ some of his friends because they actually all have tonight off)
take DS14 out to fair to eat and watch auction (family tradition and big kids blew it off! LOL)

Routine chores except
Still painting in the bathroom - started with a green and we all hate it!!
Go buy a different color of paint?? I just want it done!
Supper- out for fish
Campfire at the lake?

Morning and Happy Friday!

I believe you are right Nan, even though its only the end of July, the summer is wrapping up for a lot of people. My sister is a kindergarten teacher in North Georgia and she goes back to work on Monday. Classes start for her on Aug. 3! My two other GA teacher siblings and one SIL go back Aug 3 with school starting the week after. (Yes I come from a family of teachers! Three of my 5 siblings are teachers/administrators, one BIL, two SIL's and my 24 year old nephew starts his very first teaching position - 9th grade civics/head baseball coach - in two weeks!!!)

I remember the days when summer vacation was two and a half months long and it was back to school after Labor Day...

Chae - hope you can find the paint color you want! Have fun tonight

going out for a Sunset cruise and night fishing trip tonight
