Fun weekend!! Started off Friday night with dinner at the Hard Rock Café and then the Journey concert. While their new lead vocalist looks nothing like Steve Perry he sure does sound like him. Awesome, awesome concert – their finale was “Don’t Stop Believin” and was dedicated to James Gandolfini. It was incredible!

Saturday found us driving up to Ft. Lauderdale for a day at the beach with one of my brothers and his family who had rented a condo for the week for their family vacation. We had a blast, out to dinner at a beach seafood dive in the evening and stayed overnight. He kept picking up the tab for everything (which was nice but unnecessary) and then he showed me a picture of him holding a giant check. He had won $41,000 the weekend before in a slot tournament at a Casino. I didn’t feel so bad after that, HAHAHA!

Got home late yesterday morning and crashed for a bit – too much sun and fruity beach cocktails Although I did manage to unpack and do a few loads of laundry later on in the afternoon…

My list for today:
9am Aquasize
Renew car tags online
Pay a couple online bills
Change out towels
Laundry
Vacuum
Meal planning for the week
Scrap a bit this afternoon
Find and order backpack for trip
Tacos for dinner tonight

It’s July 1….20 more days until our European Vacation!! Three day Adventures by Disney tour in Barcelona to be followed by a 12 night Med Cruise on the Disney Magic. We fly out on the 21st!!

supposed to be in high 80's today...which is hot for Seattle area, most people have no A/C in their homes, under a heat advisory today! sure does sap any energy

Becky, sounds like a fun weekend! how cool your DB won and shared some pixie dust with the family! sure you are excited for your trip!

stay cool
start working on holiday swap
dinner - something no cook from store, don't want to use anything in house
megan has dance rehearsal for 4th of July parade

Got home last night. Had a great long weekend. Now to unpack and work on laundry. No food so may have to go to the store too. Hoping to relax and scrap at some point. The weather is supposed to be in the 70s here which is unheard of for us this time of year- mother nature is weird. Have a good week!!

Michelle, yes, we are only supposed to hit 73 for the high today.. We have the windows open and no a/c on!

Let's see on the agenda today:

It's a moratorium week so my boys don't have sports practices!!! A whole week off with NO sports!!! (state rule)
finish last load of laundry
once over house
deep clean family room
deep clean bathroom
dinner menu for next 2 weeks
shopping/grocery list for next 2 weeks
wash couch cushion covers


I know there are a few more things I want to get done today but that is the MUST do list!

I don't have much on tap for today...its actually not that hot out today ( 90's). I have a doctors appointment but want to get some housework done before I have to leave. I might look over my ADR list, our 180+10 window opens next Monday so I might shift some things around.

I forgot to add....my parents have been in town so I haven't had to go grocery shopping / cooking, they are leaving later this week so I need to start a new "stock up" list of things we need since I haven't gone to the store in the past 3 weeks.

It has been so crazy here, still can't figure if I am coming or going. Hopefully things will settle down soon or I am going to end up committed!

It's a state rule for HS athletics... I'll send you the link....
Since DS12 is conditioning with the HS and DS17 plays for the HS it's a free week.. no contact and no sports...
