Prayers and to all in need..

Girls --- why is it that complete ugly drama rears it's head and stupid things are said and done in grief? I just don't understand why others find it of utmost importance to inflict additional pain during a painful time. Then to get the FB message I did last night from a family member because they have been harassed about their decision on a difficult choice that had to be made broke my heart... I could do nothing but reassure them they made the right decision and the decision they made would have been the one I made if I were in their shoes.. It's a good thing I have my kids to keep me grounded and let me blow of steam because other wise I would just drive down and tell them all they are NOT behaving the way we were raised and that they all should be ashamed of themselves as our family leaders...

I'm so glad that this is a 3 day weekend..

Nan, so sorry you are having to deal with the nastiness. People unfortunately do ugly things in death! sure your family member appreciates your love and support. Take it from me after dealing with my own ugly family when Jim died, it will not go away anytime soon. Hang tough, support your family and ignore the others, hopefully they will see their wrong in time (sadly mine didn't) hugs and prayers for you all

Morning ladies - late morning post today as we were out the door at 7 for breakfast and Joe's pre-op appt. for his shoulder manipulation. Did a little pre-trip shopping as well

Nan - sorry to hear about all the unpleasantness during this sad time. Grief can bring out the best and worst in some, hopefully time will heal their heart and mind.
Chae - how wonderful for you and your cousins to plant Memorial Day Flowers in the cemetery, that's just awesome!
