It's the Weekend... Day #2 :goodvibes

Lord of the Dance was amazing! We got in our seats JUST as the lights were going down. Even though we should have had an hr or so to spare, they had 1 lane of traffic on 95N into Philly... it was backed up for miles :( But DS18 and I had a great time! I can't believe how those peoples can dance like that! Their feet were a blur, at one point I wouldn't have been surprised if the guys feet started smoking!

Counting down till graduation...

My list for today:

Caffeinate- this repeats everyday!!

Keep to my points!

Swish and Swipe...

Go to Home Depot for the rest of the bridal shower giftie. Making a gardening bucket for her as she is buying her first house 1 week before the wedding. Then the cash we collected will come out of the bucket, among the flowers in a long ribbon.

Then later we have to start getting DS18's car back to the house in increments. Since the radiator blew up, he can't drive it too far before he has to pull it over... this is going to be a project!

Have a Great Day everyone!! :teeth:

I slept in a bit late (for me anyway!), didn't get up until 7:30. Morgan had signed up for a sewing class at Jo's for this Sunday and next, but it's been canceled because they didn't have enough people...She's disappointed, but since we bought all the supplies on Wednesday and I found some instructions online for the same type of bag she was going to make, we'll make it ourselves at some point and save the $22.50 class fee.

No other plans for the day, I think it's supposed to be beautiful. I'd love to get out and about, but it's very comfy here in my bed with my jammies still on ;)

I hope everyone has a great day!

Oooo...a gardening bucket is a great gift for a new homeowner!

Church this morning and then...

Today is the one and only Sunday in the 16 weeks of baseball that both boys have off and we are doing nothing!!!!!!

Glad your show was fun, too! Had a great day in NYC - DD loved Wicked (knew she would!).

Dog is healing up. Apparently has a back/hip problem (congenital) and may have sporadic attacks in the future. "Bed rest" (HA!) for a week and a couple of meds. At least he is finally eating and drinking - he wasn't and that had us all pretty worried - and he's finally stopped crying in pain anytime anyone went to go touch him.

TRM - how'd the auction go?
MM - glad you're resting in your jammies!

Work today - grrrrrr....

Have a great day, everyone!

PBF- Aww, poor pup! It's so sad when they have pain! And they look at you with those eyes...breaks my heart!

I wanted to see Wicked when it was in Philly, but DS18 was just getting interested in the "theater experience" and didn't want to see it. We are looking for a good show on Broadway now...any ideas?

Pixieflip- Enjoy your day off!

MM2000- I'm still in jammie mode too....

Wicked is still there and filling EVERY seat show after show - amazing. The Addams Family (musical) is new - Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuworth. DD showed interest in adding that one to her list. Going to Mary Poppins in July...

And really want to add Billy Elliot to the list too - think the kids would LOVE this one.

Good morning!

I have to start looking into Broadway shows too-visiting my sister in NYC in July. The last time I went we saw A Chorus Line (her choice). She gets discounted tickets from her company, and none of the Disney shows were included in the discount, but I'll be using the undercover tourist discount this time so it'll probably be either Mary Poppins or Lion King. And of course we'll be visiting the World of Disney NY again. :rotfl:

Today we'll be heading to the local AAA baseball game, then having an ADR planning session with my BF. Going the week of Thanksgiving, and we have to make our ADR's in 2 days. I always call at 180 days right at 7 am as we have like 17 people in our group. Last year I was on the phone for 1 1/2 hours!!!

Gotta start packing 11 more days until our 10 year anniversary trip!!!! :dance3:

And of course we'll be visiting the World of Disney NY again. :rotfl:

Nope. The 5th Avenue one is closed (for good :sad1:) and the new Times Square WoD will be open shortly before Christmas. We check on it's progress each month, and they are moving along. You'll just have to go back for that one!

Good Morning...

Flying solo with the kids today. Randy is doing his "century" ride (100 mile cycle - crazy a** man) He left at about 5:30 this monring and will be back sometime between 2-3 this afternoon (he'll actually be cycling *over* 100 miles because he rides to "start" location 3 towns over and then has to bike back home too - so it's more like 140 miles). DS is going to spend the day with his best friend - so it will be the jellybean and I (girls day). Might go hang out with my best friend. Her 13yr old cat died earlier this week - so I think we are going to get her a nice perennial that she can plant in her garden in memory of Simon.

Up (way too early - 5:30 this morning)
Coffee
Max in shower
Feed kids
Get me and kids dressed
Tidy kitchen
Call BFF
Drop off Max at half way point (we always feel like we are doing a prisoner exchange:laughing:)
Go buy shoes for for me and the bean
ACMoore
Pick up Plant
Pick up sympathy card
Pick up Lunch to bring to BFF (from Danish Pastry House of course)
Hang out with BFF
Pick up Mr. Max (at half way point)
Back home
Wait for Mr. Weekend Warrior to return (hopefully in one piece;) - anyone who has known me for a while knows *exactly* what I mean! See dh smilie in my signature for a hint - PBF knows this only too well;))
Dinner - probably take out

'K have a great day everyone!

Rhonda:hippie:

Mornin' all...

Well today...
DH is putting first coat on the entry way.. it looks good.. I hope it dries a little darker but if not, it's a good color... He is hoping to put the second coat on after the ball game and start the waines-coating after dinner....and hope to put the door frames on...

I'm hoping in his down time before the soccer game I can talk him into painting the hallway..but I don't think he will.

Today:

I will pull receipts as I think my doctor's office is trying to over bill me from my co-pay.
Pull dates for physicals
make flamingo for Sarah
make list for tomorrow (short sweet/ PO run & cleaning)
clean basement couch off
sweep basement floor

I know the flooring guy will be here on Monday at 5pm to finish the hallway...

Hope everyone has a great day!
Happy Birthday Christy!

Create last trip journal (I will NEVER make 5 again).

I'm home and my cold is kicking my butt. But I'm up in my room, I've got a Gidget movie on TV and Dis on my laptop. I'm good.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Deb - Glad you and DS had a great evening, it sounds like so much fun!
PBF - Glad your furbaby seems to be feeling better! Our lab was sick yesterday, not sure if got into something or what. Have fun with the "bedrest"!
DisneyBarlans - Have fun planning ADRs! That is my favorite part of trip planning.
Rhonda -Hope your DH makes it home in one piece!
Cindy - Hope you feel better soon!

Not much going on here today. DH is working 24 hours, and that leaves me and the boys. DS6 didn't feel well this morning, so we missed church. I had hoped to scrap today, but it hasn't happened YET. I bought a few things yesterday at HL (VERY few, as I always forget they close at 8:00, and it was 7:45 when we got there), and I'm hoping to find my motivation.

Other than that, it's:laundy: :laundy: and more :laundy: Ick! I have it all rounded up and carried to the basement, seven loads total. It's been way too crazy around here this week!!

Everyone have a great day!

Steph

Thank you Nancy.

Days been crazy and I'm glad it's winding down. Last kid is showering and then it's good night them and good night me! the nightmares of the steer loading kept waking me up so I'm a tired camper.

Another gorgeous day in New England.
My niece had a horse show in Southbridge, MA. She took first in one of the classes. :thumbsup2
Did grocery shopping, a few loads of laundry
Wrapped one of DD's birthday presents
