It's the Weekend... Day #1

So, I'm really off for 2 days in a row!!

Today I'm going with DS18 to see The Lord of the Dance in Philly. It's something he has wanted to see for a long time, and they are finally close enough for us to go

I should go to the bank to get some $$ changed for a Bridal Shower. I'm making the giftie, and doing the pull the $$ out of the box thing...need to change some big bills I got from the peoples at work. This is just part of the giftie... Shower is Tuesday so I have a few days to get it together...

Leave around noon for show with DS18

Dinner out when we are local again

Auction Day at the Fair - let's hope DD breaks even!!

Try to keep the morning mellow - expect much drama and tears in early afternoon. Head to Fairgrounds around 10:30 - Buyers lunch at 11, auction starts at 1.

Where did this laundry come from!!? Gotta beat those piles back a little. At least the dishes are done.

OH! DO I WANT TO GO TOO! Plus if you can get up to Jacksonville, my favorite scrappy store is going out of Business! (Yes, I do know they're in opposite directions, but what's a little road trip?)

Today

• Make healthy meals - just what, I have no idea
• pool? I hurt everywhere today, I'm asking myself, will it help or not?
• make some more cards (that was fun) I made another smaller one with the scraps from the brig one, and still have a few scraps left.
• scrap the challenge layout.
• drink water.
• start getting stuff together for the trip.
• talk on the phone
• take a nap

I get to so see DS and his friends/classmates in "James and the Giant Peach" today!!!! I'd have loved to have gone to see it yesterday with all the little kids, but the school didn't want a bunch of adults on campus during the school day especially since there were 400 little ones around too. DS said the show was a big hit with the kids!!

Other than that, I'm planning to finish up a circle journal and the TNT swap and hopefully get a few groups of the AK swap finished today. DS & DH will be busy after the show striking the set and then building a pit kit in the auditorium so I won't have to worry about them for awhile!

TRM's DD is auctioning her livestock today at the fair...after raising them the kids get attached as do the parents and when they auction them..tears are shed... Heck, my kids don't show any livestock but the rabbit..but I still tear up w/ the kids we know that show..especially the 10year 4-H members as that is their last fair to show livestock or exhibit projects. It's nice though..around here...10 year members get some pretty good money for their animals for their college funds!!!

Flooring guy should be here in the next 30 minutes!
DH needs to get a clue... I'm just furious with him.... he is still changing plans..and I'm still diggin' my feet in that he will do it and get it done... stop all the changes..party is 7 days away and you have 7 months to complete this..

decide if I want to go buy the door frames today or tonight.... or if I want to lose DH at the store or use him as a door frame
talk more to DS13 about his opportunity offered to him for spring soccer (travel soccer team; elite)
talk again to DS9 about what sport he will play in fall
if football ~ see if form is on line...or when sign ups are
look at calendar and set tentative dates for kids' school/sports physicals
again keep DH on track or else



**anyone get the hint I'm a little miffed at my DH.. I love him dearly...but he starts too many projects.... I'm making the list for the next 1.5 years and he can't move on til the first thing on the list is complete... I'm not waiting till the last minute when we have 3 graduating from 12-14.....**


Make CONGRATS brownies for PJ... she ran the 2 mile in conference and broke her personal best by 40 seconds!!! She did really well.... Her last meet is Tuesday...for sectionals... she won't advance to regionals but she is okay with that as she is ready for it to end this seasons... change over in new coach has gotten to all the kids... I mean the kids that didn't run didn't show up...and last year the kids were always supporting their teammates...

Nan must be the DH's are PMSing mine almost did me in last night. There's an auction he wanted to go to and he has known for over a week that Merrill is coming today!!!!! argh I mean the guy is like 93 has 1 daughter left and lives alone I think you can take an hour out of your day to spend with an old time farmer and pick his brain to make him feel good and happy for the next week. Problem is once he gets here he'll love it.

Good Afternoon everyone!

Nice day here, sunny a little windy, but still nice. Got to sleep in a little this morning (8:30) which was nice because I haven't been sleeping well all week.

The bean and ds finally wandered down about 10:30 this morning. Kids are going out biking with dh this afternoon, not sure what I will do while they are gone.

Up coffee kids fed
Shower - made it through without anyone flushing the toilet
Dogs are getting a bath (well overdue)
dh went to pick out some fancy oil to treat the mahogany on the porch
Tidy kitchen
Laundry - always
Tidy first floor
Dust first floor
Convince ds to vacumn first floor (it worked )
Figure out dinner (leaning towards steak tips on the bbq and tomato boconchini salad)
Try to tidy up scrap room - can barely walk in there now

Hmmm - suppose I should get up off my butt and make some lunch.

Im down to putting away wash, doing wash, and filling water bottles. Oh well I guesss I should tidy up my kitchen/office again too. Its starting to look very umm disasterous. Im off to add the second coat of paint to the table then its gonna be a small nap before the laundry. Hey, anyone got any good kitchen themed qoutes? I have large chucks of black that need words for my table.

Morgan has dance, may go to Kohl's. Having breakfast for dinner, including Panera bagels.
