Good morning all!
DS13 had an awesome track meet last night.. He had is personal best in both discus and shot put.. actually he was 2nd on the team in both events! ;0 Didn't place in top 3 but he was in top 5!!
Well, tomorrow we register DS17 for college classes and we get to see DD!
(so many emotions!) Mom is coming up to run DS13 around since we have to be gone tonight as DS17 has to take placement testing in Math to get him in the right class.. however I am sending a post it to remind him to take the math class required for his major.. As DD tested into the high math class...took it and found out it didn't work for her major but was an elective.. well, yay but now she needs to take another math class. She is taking it now and loves it but she could have had it done her freshman year!
Prayers and pixie dust to all.
Today's agenda:
make lunches x 3
load of towels
once over house
pack clothes/pull folders of info (DD already helped pick his classes out; advisor just needs to once over it an approve or suggest other wise)
pack bathroom necessities
sweep and mop kitchen dining room
DS13 to school/track
clean off scrap area so mom can work down there if she wants or find what she needs
DS17 up and off to school/work
town for eggs -- egg drop project
make sure DS13 has his egg drop project ready to go for tomorrow
cash for DS13's lunch
await mom's arrival
take mom and show her where she needs to take DS13 for 4H meeting tonight
take mom w/ me to pick up DS13 from track -- she will need to do this on Friday as I don't think we will be home in time especially since we are in a different time zone! lol (same state different zone)
go over rules one more time with DS13 and offer to take Disney away if he doesn't abide! (he will be good w/ Grandma cause Grandma spoils him)
make sure DS13 gives list of homework so Grandma can review or he can call us..
ck if hotel has a hot tub/pool -- may need swim suits
Tonight/tomorrow:
head to hotel by University
DH to go get DD to visit for a while
set alarm for morning -- placement testing starts at 7am... if it's like DD had.. she was done by 7:30am and we had til 8:30am before the orientation/registration event started...
DH to take DD's car in for repair while I'm at orientation tomorrow.
hopefully lunch w/ DD, DH, DS and me
head home... 2 weeks till DD will be home after that
Sorry it's so long today.... trying to write everything down so I don't forget anything. I will try to check in tomorrow. If I am not able to everyone has a great Friday! I will definitely check in on Saturday!
