deep clean pj's room.... she is surprising us by coming home; but called her Dad to tell him so that he would not freak.. she has an event downtown and instead of getting a hotel she and bff are coming here to stay for free.

Another gorgeous day in Paradise, I might even go to the pool today !

Not much on my agenda, morning chores and then I have the day to myself. I need some down time...getting ready to start painting the master bath on Monday.

Nan - great to hear you get a short visit with PJ, a nice surprise!

Just wanted to say hello! I've got today off. Going to get my toenails done and then am bringing lunch to my sister's house to spend some time with all my sisters (one is here from Florida), another niece, and Betsy. Will be a tough afternoon, but worth all the heartache for some extra memories and time with her.

Just a few updates - Morgan got into the technical high school, she's wavering about going - worried about being an "awkward loner." I told her everyone will be in the same position, and that she'll make some awesome friends, ones who have the same interests that she does. I think she'll end up there, but I'm not pushing it too hard. (Although I'd like to).

Got away last weekend with Christy and another friend from Canada. Put my completed swap pages to good use and got 51 pages done! I would have gotten a lot more done, if I could have stayed away from the coconut rum.

I hope everyone is well and healthy. I'm a couple weeks into year 2 at my job. Still loving being in the city. My coworkers are lots of fun. We're very busy now with re-accreditation coming up, and then the application cycle will be in full swing! Going to be crazy busy.

congratulations to Morgan, that's so wonderful she got accepted! will be a hard decision for her to make....tell her Megan had the same issues with going to the private high school, but after thinking about it long and hard decided it was going to be the best fit for her!

Becky -- hope you are enjoying the me day!!!

Jennifer -- glad you got a day off and are spending it making memories with the family and especially Betsy.. Always in my thoughts... Congrats to Morgan.. it will be a tough decision just like choosing a college. Tell her to look at the big picture of which school will benefit her most with what she wants to do in college.. Everything for college starts your freshman year of high school... taking the right classes, volunteering, involved in activities in/out of school, GPA.... She'll make the right choice she is a smart girl!!

Lisa --- at least you found out now rather than later about the passport issue.

Chae -- enjoy your visit with DGS!!

Cassey -- have a good day.. hope the meeting went well and you get to rest this weekend!


I got all my boys swimsuits on sale and some new shorts on sale! I actually spent less than what I budgeted so I'm going to tuck that money away from some extra fun at Disney... (they won't be any the wiser and I'll complain how much it cost me! LOL)

off to the post office.. need to send both nephews out their gifts...
