Today I have to:

No coffee... No water.... No food

Walgreens for basket stuff

Surgery in the afternoon

Holly, did you go to the library book sale yesterday and find Bubba lots of books?

DS to school
Laundry
Run errands I didn't get to yesterday (scout bank deposit, library, Michaels, JCP returns)
I also need to go to Walgreens and find a giant chocolate peanut butter Easter egg DH saw. He didn't get it because he wasn't coming straight home and it would have melted. He wants it for DS's basket. He will it!
Work on swaps

Morning Ladies.

Deb- good luck on the eye. we will be thinking of you. have ds text someone and let us know you are ok.

Lisa- have a safe trip home. i bet you will be glad.

Dit- YES i did do the library. What a deal it was. I got 20 YES 20 books for bubba at a whopping $4.00!!!!!! i did good huh? i mean really even if he reads them once it was such a deal! he was so excited. and they are good ones. both hard and soft cover. and i book a novel for me for a $1.00. I love to read and just can't seem to find the time. So I'm making it a must for me. I made a promise to myself to read one chapter a night. I think we will go once a month and see what they have. He just loves to read and will go right through these books in no time. Dh suggested that we donate them back when we get the new ones. And bubba asked if he could keep the ones he really loved? i told him he was a book hog!!!

and i went clearance shopping at m's, j's and acm's yesterday and found all sorts of goodies! so yesterday was a good day all around!!


here's my list for today......

no work!!!!!

make chicken soup for dh. he's been asking.
run to target and get bubba a plain tshirt. i found a WALL-E iron on at j's for a $1.00 and he wants to make it today. he loves WALL-E.
clean bathroom
finish laundry from yesterday
print pics at walgreens
find pic for frame for grandma for easter
take bubba to taco bell for new lemonade freeze thing they have there. he loves lemonade.
work on sports swap

and whatever else bubba decides we should do today!!!

Oh and Dit are you talking about the Reese pb eggs? cause they have big ones of those now. i had one the other day. they are my favorite! and i love that you dh wants you to pick it up for ds. how nice is that?! some dh's could care less what you put in the baskets. my dh loves to pick things out for ds basket too!

Wow, Holly, that was a good buy at the library on books!!!! That's wonderful that Bubba likes to read so much. My DS is a book hog too. But, he doesn't read much anymore. Too much other stuff going on!!!!

On my DH and the pb egg for DS's basket. Well, it's a fluke! My DH does NOT shop or go into stores, so usually I find everything for DS. But, I asked him to stop at Walgreens one day when DS had my car and I was stuck at home and that's when he saw it. And, it's not entirely that he thinks it's perfect for DS's basket. He does know that DS will love it, but DH will also love it and expects DS to share!!!!!!

that's funny Stephanie. he wants him to share it! oh i think 1/2 the reason dh likes to shop for the basket stuff with me is i don't know how to pick out good legos or trucks. we bought him 2 lego sets because they were buy 1 get 1 1/2 off. so i thought i'd run and pick 2 up and dh said " oh, i'll go with you!" because normally he HATES to shop. i think he likes to do *bubba shopping* because he gets to be a kid again!!!!

Good Morning everyone.

Holly- Good job at the library- I am a book hog too as well as DH- I come by it naturally- when my brother was a part of the national physics team we had to count the number of bookshelves in the house and we had about 45 shelves. I have boxes of books in the garage from teaching and my childhood and we have plenty of shelves aroudnt he house they are just all full.

Debbie_ I pray the surgery goes well.

Ok, Holly, I feel like we need to be attached at the hip. My all time favorite candy are the Reese's peanut butter cups. DD is a big reader and would probably have said the same thing as Bubba- "can I keep my favorites?" AND I bought DS two little Legos at the ToysRUs sale for his basket. Of course, DH had to help because I don't know anything about Legos...yet. DS is still a little young for Legos, but that's never stopped us!

I need ideas for DD's basket. I have no idea what to get her, this is a first.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone! I'm not as nervous this time since it's just a repeat of the last surg on the other eye. I'll be glad when it's over...COFFEE!!!!!

The first one I tried had almost a blue grey haze to them. I tried another Walgreens and these are fine.

20 books for $4! OMG, where is that? It's worth the gas to get there! M loves books, and has a ton, but is starting to tear through them!

I'm at work today Blah...and it's my long day...Pooh!

I have to pick Morgan up at the roller rink from a birthday party at 6:30

So, my big day is:

(Get a 6-pack?)
Go home and veg!

I didn't get everything done I wanted to yesterday, but my mom's house is "relatively" clean, and my laundry is nearly done. I did get to Mike's this am for price-matched carts

Jennifer it's at the library in Cumberland. they have the the book sale on thurs nights from 5 to 7:30. it's hit or miss i guess. my girlfriend told me about it. they had all kinds of girly ones last night. like that junnie b jones series. -i think that's the name of it- you should check it out. and they have an awesome playground there too! let me know and i'll meet you over there.


Ash- that is so funny! love those peanut butter eggs! YUMM-O! and the legos are addictive. bubba started out with one little set and now it's turned it to a love affair for him!!!!! and i love that your DD loves to read and would want to keep her favs too!
