Wow! This week is going by pretty quick!!! We are on top of the hill and it looks like the weekend is in sight!!

We got 4.5" of snow last night...lots of accidents in town..lots of sirens all night, I'm sure because of slide offs/slide intos... Of course it hit during rush hour so lots of cars and people not paying attention or in a rush to get home...


DH decided to work from home today so he took the boys to school.. We did not allow DS16 to drive for the first time since he got his license...he wasn't real happy but didn't complain...

So today:

nap
attempt to scrap a little depending on DH's call scheduled
once over house
pick up DS12
DH to pick up DS16 to get him to work (will decide if I go pick up DH so DS16 can drive home or if we will just pick him up)
dinner
schedule boys' hair appts for tomorrow after work

Nervous. I'm giving my notice today. Not looking forward to it, but I know it has to be done. I also have to call and accept the position, of course. I'm excited about that

Morgan wants to take a trial dance class tonight (Lyrical), but it will depend on the weather. Storm is heading this way. We're in the 6-10 swath, of course.

Dinner will be grilled chicken, scalloped or au gratin potatoes, and green beans.

OK I was going to work on TestTrack this morning - start cutting - I have NO grey paper how can I do Testtrack without grey paper??
I'm hoping the school supply shop in town has some (she is iffy on what she has - lots of cute stuff so I usually buy more than what I go into there for)

Today & Tomorrow then I"m off work for a week
gotta start inventory today

Hope everyone in the path of the storm stays safe & remains "powerful" LOL, couldn't figure out another way to word that. We are so wishing to get hit by this one; we've been 2 winters without a BIG snowstorm or a lot of snow. (Be careful what you wish for, right?) Somehow they have all been out along the coast & we've escaped. DS is NOT happy that this is the 2nd year without a snow day! (And we live in a supposed snowbelt)

Today:
Dinner is already in crockpot
Gym class
Finish shutterfly book & order before 12pst tonight
DS friend afterschool until his dad gets out of work
Band concert tonight
Print reports for tomorrow
Sheets changed, laundry & general pickup? (Maybe tomorrow?)

Happy Wednesday! Been a rough week here so far, but I'm looking forward to a little retail therapy tonight. Got to sit and relax and watch Wreck it Ralph last night with my youngest. Cute movie and with the coupon I had it was only $12!

DH is working from home and is currently procrastinating by sweeping and mopping the dining room and kitchen... So, I guess I don't have to do that today...

It's cold, cold, cold here... it's supposed to get colder tonight... but no more sn*w... It's a heavy wet snow... YUCKO!!! We had no delay for school today... but area schools all around us closed... The safety of our students is not a priority here...

My boss hasn't come in yet. He did just call and say he would be here within the hour. I've worked myself up quite a bit waiting for him to show up!

Glad to hear it went well... Now to start the new chapter in life and one with free or reduced cost educational opportunites for all of you!!!


Ok, my DS16 just registered for his final year of HIGH SCHOOL!!! Yipee!!! He said they are changing the layout of the school day schedule for the 3rd year in a row.. they want to get them ready for college..but this schedule doesn't even resemble a college scheduled day... the current one we have does... this school seems to be going down hill fast.(luckily DS16 only needs 3 required classes next year and the rest are college classes and one fun one because he likes the teacher)... may be scouting a new high school for DS12....

got the cricut machine cutting
the lady at the school supply store laughed when she was the boys - I asked if she knew I was desprate
James tried to bring home a baby doll that was there in the play area lucky he gave it back to her but then tried to throw some other things behind the counter I got it before that happen & she laughed some more (she has family that is austic so very understanding & has a great personality)

I did pick up some golf theme paper - thinking the mini-golf could be really cute or really crazy

Nan - good luck with the school - hopefully the new idea will work better - at least they are willing to try something different

Jen - I know how you feel, I get the same way when I think I'll dissappoint someone
