Deb, at least your boss had the decency to try to back paddle his way out of his stupidity pool. Many wouldn't even bother.

Pam, I am so sorry about your puppy dog. Our little furry babies become a huge part of the family, our heart aches when they are sick too.

Poor Sophie, I didn't know there is baby Zantac. Glad to hear she is feeling better already.

My to do list for Thursday (frankly I am looking forward to the week to end, it has been too stressful)

Wood in the woodstove
Get DD up and ready for school
syringe feed the kitten (he is less than pleased with me but we have to get him to eat. I find if I put food on his front paws, he'll lick it off to be clean)
caffeinate
Work
Call lab to inquire where DD's lab results are
Get a call from the resident dr with DD's lab results, her liver enzymes are up again.
Afternoon meeting.
syringe feed the kitty
dinner, baby back ribs
Oversee tubby time.
Bed early, this week has been too much for me and is draining me.

Flower Show was amazing, and just what I needed. If Dufus was there, I didn't see him. There were so many orchids this year. It seemed to be the theme flower, other years it's been daises or roses. They also released some kind of parrots while we were there, and they flew all over squawking and having a blast in the trees and stuff. Disappointments were not many container gardens like years past, the miniature gardens and the terrariums were lacking too

I came home with an orchid, and a bonsai. I also got a cute plant rooter for the kitchen window. I took soooo many pictures too, I'll post tomorrow if I can.

We've only been to one flower and garden show [BC] here and it was amazing. I can't wait to see your photos. I wish I was with you there.

My mom and I used to go every year in Boston. We haven't been in a few years and now she's in FL for the winter. I wonder if I can find someone to go with me?

I'm probably going to the Boston show - not sure yet which day. (Never missed any of them before, and now that they're trying something new - I suppose I have to support Mass Hort...!) Maybe we can meet up and go together...?

The end of March is all I remember - I'll dig around for the mailing and get back to you. We'll also check with TB, Shamrock, and the other folks who have gone with me in the past, too and see if we can come up with a good day for everyone. We can fill up a minivan or take over a train car!
