~The Daily Grind~ 3/27/10

The boys and I were totally blown away by Cirque Le Masque! It was a spectacle! So over the top, each act was amazing! Wow, we couldn't stop talking about it all through dinner!

Now I can't wait to see the one in Vegas... that is where our bachelorette wanted to go for a show. Then I'm going to drag DH when we are at Disney in October...

Hope he's such a cute boy. Looks just like my aunts shadow did.

Deb glad to hear the show was great.

Pam staying out of way good idea.

Holly glad you all had a great egg hunt. Boys are dying for ours on easter.

Steph good for you and you're right working might not be so bad

Nan hope you made your 20 pages.

So far Kipsy seems to be settling in well. We've been checking on him in his room about every hour, and staying with him for 15-30 min. The first two times he was in a corner between some boxes and didn't want to move. The third time, after about 10 min he came out for a snuggle and scratch. And the last two times he has flown out of his corner to look for his snuggles. So I think he has accepted us completely, even if he is still not sure about his surroundings.

He's eaten a bit, but seems to only go for the food when we are in the room, and only 2 or 3 bites at a time. He is intrigued by the door and wants to go with us when we leave. No litter box usage yet, so he's not going anywhere until then.

But he is such a snuggler! He can't decide which of us he wants to be with, so he goes back and forth. Rubs up against our hands, arms, shoes, legs, sides, back, you name it. He will stick his head on the ground, and stick his butt up in the air to have his back scratched. Then he turns a sort of half somersault where he's trying to roll over, but isn't quite sure he wants to expose his belly to us. So he kind of just crashes into our legs. It's hard to describe but completely adorable. And all the time purring away.

Debbie, we've seen the Cirque show at DTD a few times and it's fantastic. We've also seen one of the travelling ones and it was just as awesome. I would love to go see some of those in Vegas. We've got a few DVD's of some of the Cirque shows and while they are awesome and fun to watch, it's nothing like seeing the show in person. Glad you enjoyed the show today!
