So far Kipsy seems to be settling in well. We've been checking on him in his room about every hour, and staying with him for 15-30 min. The first two times he was in a corner between some boxes and didn't want to move. The third time, after about 10 min he came out for a snuggle and scratch. And the last two times he has flown out of his corner to look for his snuggles. So I think he has accepted us completely, even if he is still not sure about his surroundings.
He's eaten a bit, but seems to only go for the food when we are in the room, and only 2 or 3 bites at a time. He is intrigued by the door and wants to go with us when we leave. No litter box usage yet, so he's not going anywhere until then.
But he is such a snuggler! He can't decide which of us he wants to be with, so he goes back and forth. Rubs up against our hands, arms, shoes, legs, sides, back, you name it. He will stick his head on the ground, and stick his butt up in the air to have his back scratched. Then he turns a sort of half somersault where he's trying to roll over, but isn't quite sure he wants to expose his belly to us. So he kind of just crashes into our legs. It's hard to describe but completely adorable. And all the time purring away.
