~The Daily Grind~ 2/4/10

It's The Day Before Friday!!!! Going to the good hosp again...life is G.O.O.D!

They are calling for sky dandruff to the tune of maybe 25" a guy at work told my DH. I'll be stopping at the market after work today along with every other person in the state...sigh...

OH, and last night, the septic started acting up. I was doing a load of the never ending wash and I heard the toilet bubbling. That's never a good sign... It's DH's prob though, since I'm working during the day. Poor DH, he was so used to doing his own thing and just leaving me a check, I was home, and house stuff was my prob :lmao: Guess he didn't count on all these little things when I went full time... Like repairmen, doctor calls, and now my fav, the HoneyDipper guy :confused3

My List for today:

Caffeinate- This repeats everyday!!

Try to keep my word kinder

:surfweb: DIS/ FB

Swish and Swipe... everyday!

Work till 3p- Supposed to use my "creative eye" :lmao: to help the boss rearrange. I made a passing comment when she was talking to the big boss yesterday that was like a lightbulb for her. Sometimes it takes a new set of eyes to see things differently. Anyway, I was credited with the great idea...that was nice :teeth: Now she wants to see if I have any more...

Maybe go work out, but my tummy feels not so good today :(

Crochet more on the sweater and watch DVR's stuff...

Dinner- :confused3

Have a Great Thursday Everyone!! :teeth:

All you Eastcoasters need to be careful this weekend.

Have to go to the store and get gelatin for cell cytoplasm to make tonight. :sad2: Going first thing to miss the crazies. We may get a whopping 4 inches and that alone will make people think they need to stock up.

25 inches? Holy heck, Batman, that's a lot of snow! Guess I'd better watch the news.

I'm up, but I really don't want to be. I do have jury duty so I've got to leave right when Morgan gets on the bus. I'm still not feeling 100%, but, hopefully, they'll just send us all home again.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Debbie, good for you on having a great "creative eye"!!!!:thumbsup2

SIOH, be careful with all that white stuff.:scared:

AWM, how are the stinky pups doing? Still smelly?

MM, good luck with jury duty. Hope you feel better.

I was supposed to go into work bright and early this morning, but the truck will be arriving late so my schedule has changed to go in after lunch. I wonder if we got more scrappy stuff for the new display? I've been very good and still haven't bought anything. But, I'm thinking I need that Songbird paper pad. It's really pretty.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Can you take a photo of the display and show us?

They are still pretty smelly. I am however, getting used to it. I don't notice it as much unless I leave the room and come back. :rotfl2:

Again, not a bad day ahead - stuff to get done, but not hectic!

Rebecca, you are in my thoughts. You've got a rough road ahead and please let us know if any of us can help in any way.

Got to finish the scrappy birthday gift (12 pages practically completed yesterday! Zoom, zoom!) to give to friend's kid today for his scrapbook. Just finish last two layouts off and then I'm set and can return to my own pages. But, it was fun to try some new things and techniques...

The bad snowstorm sounds like it will miss us - but those to the south will get slammed - stay safe, everyone.

DS and I just had a fun few moments together while he was waiting for his bus. He pulled out scrapbooks and we had a great time looking over pages! He adores flipping through the books - warms my heart! He is also flying high today...yesterday, he got invited to a schoolmate's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese! For parents of typical kids, this might not seem like a big deal (and even a bit of an ouch!), but for kids with autism and other disabilities, it is special, since they tend not to get invited to parties except those of VERY close friends and family. So, he is over the moon!

Can't wait for the other Girl Scout families to come get their cookies - the cookie carton wall is clogging up my entire front door/entryway area. The next meeting is here tomorrow, so I guess everyone is waiting until then - ugh - I've had these since Monday!

Rebecca - I'll keep you and your grand-mother in my thoughts.

Sick kid home again today. Poor little Bean was in tears in the middle of the night and again this morning. She's got a low grade fever and a cough. Not feeling 100% myself, so we are quite a pair today. Luckily DH went grocery shopping last night so we have food.

I'm getting a little squirelly stuck inside the house. Not feeling well enough to actually do something, but sick enough to be bored:confused3

Why? Do ya need some more fancy-schmancy bras? :rotfl2:

Will have the car tomorrow (and be driving past your house to a drs. appt.) and will drop off Girl Scout cookies and trashy magazines! Sorry it can't be today - sounds like both would come in handy!!!!

Feel better -

Hello again!

They are looking for Grandmom's living will to be able to make decisions!- I would think the nursing home should have that on hand but the laywer should too.

ZTH- got the envelope today- have you gotten the package?

Rebecca

so sorry Rebecca.

hugs to get through the day.

Rebecca, both parties should have that living will.. I would think in the nursing home it would have been with her chart... so that they would know immediately how to respond to any situation w/in their facility...

Huge hugs to all of you.. prayers still being said..
