Alright, some of these things are on the list for the 3rd day in a row, some only 2nd. But the library is cleaned up, and it was a bigger task than I thought originally.

Verify external HD
Change sheets
Empty suitcase in bedroom
Totes to closet
Suitcase to storage
Vacuum bedroom & library
Lights on windows
Garlands around doors
Trees up in living room, fluffed, lights, garland and tree skirts
Attempt to make a grocery store list
Grocery Store

After dinner:
Tree up and with lights downstairs
Garlands, tree skirt on main tree
Ornaments on main tree

I'm so sorry Holly. For both you and Bubba. I would be a basket case if either of my boys had asthma. I tend to go to the extreme when it comes to them.

I'm late to the party today. Had school duty and had to get the late books back to the library before the fine was more than the books were worth. JK, it was only $1.60 for four books.

The wind is wicked awful here. We had rain and are due for more rain and possibly ice. The white stuff may fall, but there won't be more than an inch of it. The temps are 40-38 right now and are to drop to 18 overnight. Good thing I brought up more firewood to the porch last night. Trying to do that today would funny. But not for me. For anyone who could see me.

Laundry.
Figure out where Poseidon is going to live. Yes, my boys gave the fish a name longer than its body. They are still trying to figure out how Gamma and Sirius got the fish into the house without anyone seeing it.
Clean up kitchen counters then floor.
Bring vacuum upstairs and take care of business. Wonder how many clones can fit in the can? Oh, wait. That is what Gamma can do. I'll clean out the clear cylinder and then put the clones inside it with their arms up. Oooo she's a bad girl.
Need to check outside and see what may blow away in this wind. 30-40mph with gusts up to 50.

We got the big wind too, and now it's kinda warm out there, like a damp crisp spring day...and the sun is shining BIG change from earlier!!

Wow, I so wish I had little kids to play elves with! It's just way to cute!

Christmas Magic is all worn off here. My boys, for the first time ever, didn't make a huge big deal about the advent tree and getting it from the attic and hanging it up I'm so sad about it I just can't tell you!

But DH is still a big kid! Every time he does some Christmas shopping he does a little dance and hums "We wish you a merry Christmas"... I pretend to be overly bored with the whole thing, but it really is too cute

The wind is awful here.. I just went and tucked an extra blanked in w/ Duke, the rabbit...
I've checked to make sure everything is secure and won't blow away.. (another reason I asked DH not to bring down the outdoor decorations this year, I just had a feeling!)
We've had some sn*w... a light dusting of pellets on the ground.... roads are fine...
I hope they stay that way for DD to get home...


Sorry the boys are being a little un-Christmassy... maybe that will change...

clean off my car so the rain doesn't freeze the white icky stuff

Princess's bus never came either. We left the house (barely able to get out of the driveway), around 9:55 to drive to school and they weren't letting the kids in yet. Seriously? You've had 4 hours to get ready for this. Why weren't they there shoveling and snow blowing and plowing? Huh? The Superintendent woke me up at 5:53 am to tell me that there was a 2-hour delay. What's the point of a 2-hour delay if they aren't going to use the 2 freakin' hours to CLEAN UP and get ready for the kids to be at school? Apparently, it is rocket science!

Sorry for the rant, I'm tired. It took me forever to get here and I don't want to be here. I must be coming down with something..."cough, cough."

I get to leave a little early to make sure this package gets overnighted today. I'm out of here soon!

I CAN SEE MY DESK!!! This may not sound like a big deal to some, but my desk has been covered since summer...and now it's CLEAN!!!

I can get into some serious trouble now...LOL...

DD was able to drive home once I was able to go to school and get her into her truck.. the doors iced shut... She ended up driving my van home and she was unsure of the truck... (I think she was trying every excuse in the book to drive the warmer vehicle home).. She followed me home and did a good job...

I have a vent..but won't even spill it... some people really need a CLUE!
