Good Morning!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi Cassey! :wave2: Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

We won't be celebrating with my family until Friday, so yesterday didn't seem like a real "Christmas" day. Spent part of the day with my in-laws, but it's just not the same. I think the other problem with it not feeling like Christmas is that we missed church services on Christmas eve. Both my youngest and myself have bronchitis and it was really acting up. Got meds on Saturday morning, but they didn't kick in until Monday and by then we were both exhausted from not sleeping. And, it started snowing like crazy about an hour before church was to begin, so we decided to stay home. It just didn't feel right, though.

Anyway, I'm back at work today and tomorrow. Then I'm off for 5 days . DID NOT want to get out of bed this morning. Not fair everyone else was cozy in their beds while mom had to go to work :crazy2:

Today's list is quite easy:
Work
Run to butcher to pick up tri-tips for dinner on friday
Hit wal-mart for 2 gift cards I forgot
Home for a nice quiet dinner

Hope everyone has a great day!

Today

Clean up the Christmas Mess some!!!
Go to a few stores for a few items (look through Christmas clearance)
Get blood work-check levels to make sure my recovery is going well
Have a family night and be lazy!

All meals are leftovers! I am not cooking today!!

Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas!!

My busy day just came to a screeching halt thanks to the Blizzard of 2012. We probably have about 5 inches and are supposed to get at least 5 inches more.

Work-cancelled, though DH works from home so he is in his office typing away
Christmas Clearance run- not happening
Returning-DH went to Walmart this morning for bread and soup and handled those returns, the others will wait
Dinner-chili or leftovers

DS and I are going to play some games and make snow cream later. Hopefully we can go sledding tonight or tomorrow. I feel like a little kid, I love the snow and snow days are a gift from God! :goodvibes

Hope everyone has a great day, and had a wonderful Christmas!

Hey Brandi!!

We are watching Blizzard 2012 too!!! We have about 6" or more on the ground. (3" fell in the last hour alone). the wind is picking up again... Our county is NOT under a travel emergency..but everyone around us is under travel warnings.... We are not going anywhere.
The news just said it'll get worse throughout the day..

So, yesterday I prepped a few extra meals, did laundry.

DH is working from home.. The kids are chillin' and I'm watching the snowfall out the window..

The rest of today:
Work on PCRC
Work on entrance
cut the titles for both
type up information for both spots
label the 15 bags
watch weather

I hope everyone has a great day.. I'm going to enjoy a movie with my kids before I get started on things today.. Enjoy the day!!!

Brandi,

thanks for the reminder on snow cream.. the kids were out in the kitchen last night each grabbing the 3 biggest bowls they could find and checking for all the supplies! LOL

A family tradition that we love dearly!!!!

Good Morning,

Hope everyone had a good Christmas! It was a strange one; our family was all spread out this year from Arizona, to Ohio, to Georgia, Alabama and Florida. It's also our first Christmas without Mom. It was just DH and I, which was nice, just quiet. All of us kinda felt the same way so we are going to make an effort to get together next year :) On a sad note, DH's best friend's Dad passed away yesterday which made the day somber...

Anway, it wasn't really a Christmas to remember and we both are ready to move forward to the New Year. DH is at work today I have been up since 0630 packing away Christmas (we have always done this, after all it is Boxing Day!) and will tackle the laundry next!

Nan, Brandi, Christy stay safe during Blizzard 2012!

Have a great day all!

Becky

Good morning :) I hope y'all had a wonderful Christmas :santa:

We loved Les Mis (the movie) even DH was crying by the end. The Hammer's give this movie 5 stars ;)
ETA: The movie shows all of the war violence & blood that is offstage in the musical play version, so just be aware if you get queasy or have younger kiddos.

P & PD for those in need pixiedust:

Those of you in the path of the storm stay safe and warm
Michelle fingers crossed for more good test results
Danielle feel better soon
Nan and Brandi enjoy your snow cream

Rachel and I have allergy shots today, DH has physical therapy, and Sarah has to work this afternoon. I'm hoping to get some pics uploaded and ordered.

Have a great day all :flower3:

I have 23 degrees here but at least there is no snow (few ice spots on the road according to DH) we are staying in too
tomorrow is suppose to the warmest day for the rest of the week
so scrapping is what I'm suppose to be doing but I uploaded pics to facebook - need to do Christmas eve next
hope everyone stays warm & safe

I almost forgot the snow cream bowl, but it only took about 45 minutes for it to fill. I do not think DS even remembers what it is!

There is a waist high drift by our front door. The poor dog had snowscicles hanging from his beard. He hates the snow.

I am supposed to work the rest of the week, it will be interesting to see what happens there. Are you guys visiting the museum anytime soon?

Good morning ladies!

Michelle, hope things are going good.
Nan, brandi, stay warm!

We had snow yesterday morning. Just as it was getting good. It stopped.

Today:
Kiddos up. Ds and DD#3 have drs appts-both have shots.
Trip to mcds
Pick up DD#2 from my sisters
Home
Christmas clean up!

Tree down- it died
Kitchen cleaned
Finish up editing photopass pics
Dinner-not sure probably leftovers

Scrap 10 pages before bed.

We are talking about going on Friday since DH has the day off work... I'll keep you posted!!!

Somehow the storm passed us by with no snow. Just a few counties over, they got a lot. I must say I was hoping for a little snow while we had time off work/school.

My house (minus the dining room where all new stuff was laid) is almost back to normal. Just got a knock on our door that there was a water break and in about 30 minutes, we would not have water until later this evening. So I getting ready to leave and do errands. Hoping to find some material to match my new bedding I got for our master. We are finally going to paint/fix up our bedroom.

Anyone get scrappy goodies?

My MIL got me some basic stickers and paper. I also have some return money that I am going to purchase a smash journal kit and a 365 smash book with. I am really digging on the ease of the smash books, especially since we are traveling with DH's work a lot.

We made maple flavored snow cream...yum! Reminds me of my childhood. :goodvibes
