The Daily Grind ~ 12/22/11

Good morning everyone
Slower day - all the food has been bought, last day of classes since tomorrow we have a half day and my classes would be the second half (rotating schedule)
Made 6 dozen cookies last night to bring in
Going to be in the low 50's here today, with a chance of snow overnight - weird December weather.

Today:
Wrap gift for a friend
get together with angel tree parents to have gifts picked up
make ginger cookies
make cheesecakes???- I have to wait until DH comes home with ingredients so I might wait till tomorrow- they are for SUnday
check on Christmas baskets for the community- make sure they are getting delivered
dinner- ??? on meat with stir fry vegies
put together my new scrap storage areas so I will be ready to start organizing things

Good morning!
Tonight we are having the kids friends over to hang out since they all havnt seen each other and this group used to be really tight. Half of them are seniors and their scheds have been nightmares!
Keeping it easy, pizza, pop, chips and cookies.

Lots of wrapping and trying to finish that project up.
Took yesterday off because it was milestone birthday for me. So I need to catch up today.

Mornin'...so what's on your agenda today??

Today I hope to get several things done but I have some pressure in my sinuses today so here's hoping.. acutally, there's no hoping things must be done!! Time to put on my mean mommy hat to make sure it gets done...

Make several batches of cookies (this will be kids' jobs)
finish laundry
make dinner menu
shopping list for Friday
await phone call from college housing to complete & pay for app for PJ; then we await contract to sign in Jan and put deposit down for school yr
once over on house
premake some scrap pages (10)
DS15 to walkthru before game
game night!


Think that's about it today.. no reason to push it... I need to fill better for tomorrow because I have a lot to do..

When my DS11's friends ask how old I am.. DS11 will tell them 32... you should see some of the parents try to figure out how at 32 I have an 18yo about ready to graduate (and a 21yo stepson! LOL)
I have had to explain to many parents that I'm 32 and holding and that I am old enough to have the 18, 15, 11 yos!

Well, I got a little sleep last night but DH had a major setback and is sicker than he was on Monday. He did the classic - "oh, I feel better, I don't need to continue taking the antibiotic". Perhaps now the poor guy gets it.

Yes, I'm recycling 25! I had a very hard time with it at first but Im doing better now.
When my preschool kids ask how old I am I either say Im older than dirt or ask them how old they think I am and I love it when they tell me Im 5 because thats older than them! I would be happy to be 5!
