my day:

megan up and out
SHOPPING DAY for me.....going to get some of my holiday shopping done!
so off to the mall, Kohls and Target....got some coupons to use!

then off to school this afternoon, Megan's choir classes are having a mini retreat for rehearsal and some fun, games and dinner until 830 tonight, wish me luck 100 noisy, loud 6 & 7 graders!

home to crash!

Good Morning!

I am heading out on a retreat for the weekend so I trying to get a few things done. I have been trying to make dining reservations for a family 1 day trip to WDW but the sytem upgrade is messing up reservations.

I still need to :
pack
make bullitens
get cash
meet up with ride

I'm working. Don't want to be here. But, that's pretty much an everyday occurrence

Meezer seems to be having a bit of a backslide. He had great test results from the blood work on Tuesday. Vet said we could do away with the antibiotic and pain killer so we didn't give him any Wednesday night or Thursday morning. He was very out of sorts yesterday. Sleeping a lot again, being clingy, and not eating much that I saw. I gave him the meds again last night, just in case, and he seemed to have improved overnight. I'm waiting for a call back from the local vet, to decide if we need to keep giving him the medications or get him a feeding tube. Will it ever end?! We have almost two weeks to get him stabilized before our trip. I don't want to be worried sick about him for a week.

I think I need a cookie.

Morning Ladies!! TGIF!!!

Same old around here today.
Girls off to bus
Vacuumed my room, changed the bedding and the feathers flew everywhere
DS down for a nap
unload/reload dishwasher- i just want to point out that this is NOT my chore according to the chart and that 2 other people in this house is slacking majorly!
Vacuumed rest of upstairs

Now to do:
Get DD from school
lunch
motivate girls to clean downstairs
work on getting swap pieces out of the computer and onto paper
scrap a few pages
dinner- something easy sloppy joe pie?
catch up on tv.
bed semi early gotta get into the swing of things before next week.

Vet thinks it's a pain issue. We've got more meds, and he seems much better already. DH got him to eat some treats after work today. I had left out turkey, tuna, and wet and dry foods for him (them), but I don't know what was eaten and what was left, because he's with DD at dance. Either way, I think we're finally figuring it out!

Stopped at Mike's to get paper. I mis-read the email and thought the paper was on sale today and tomorrow (I think it actually starts on Sunday!) but they overrode the price for me. It was very kind of them to do so...

I hope all is well - Jen, I hope puppy is eating (I really don't want to see your vet bill)
I have been to work, went to bank to order checks(someone remind me to order checks someplace else next time) went to Dairy to get milk.

Now I"m trying to get a couple of more scrap book pages finished before starting supper(no idea what to make for that - noodles are topping my list at this moment)

We have power!!!!! When DH got up at 4:00 am, he discovered we have power. Thank goodness.
Email neighbor to notify her of the power. She is 39 weeks pregnant and had to relocated to her in-laws.

Yay! I'm so glad your power is back! Isn't it such a relief?!

Reddy, no you don't want to see my vet bill. I had to put a deposit down when I dropped him off at the hospital on the 24th. At that time, they really thought he had an obstruction and were going to have to do surgery. I had to put down 75% of that cost - the deposit was MORE than our trip to Disney in 12 days. And that includes round-trip non-stop airfare. Luckily...he didn't need the surgery, but did spend 3 days in the hospital with IV fluids and medications, along with x-rays, ultrasounds, etc, etc, etc...I did have a credit of over $1,000 when I picked him up, but at this point (between the other 2 vets we went to before he went to the hospital, and the follow-up blood work and now another prescription), we're up close to the one-week trip again. Anyways, he's definitely better. I guess he was/is still in pain and the medication seems to be working. He's not as clingy as he was (but still lovey), and he's eating. I figure we can get another 10 years out of him, so if I divide the cost by 10, it's not so bad.

Oh, and he's a cat This is him in the dryer, when he was a kitten.

He's a spoiled rotten little prince, but we love him!

All the stress has caught up with me though. I woke up at 3:00 am with a migraine and got sick. It was bad. After dosing up with Advil, I slept until after 8:00 am! Obviously, I needed it.

awww he is cute - looks like the one my family had when I was little
don't know why I thought dog - I'm a cat person myself, it seems like dogs are always going to the vet
