I love the ones from the deli - we call them snappy dogs! Are they Maple Leaf? Tonight I just have whatever was BOGO at the grocery store last time I bought them. DH is very particular.

so late to the party today.

first of all Happy Birthday Andrew. some how i missed that! i think it was yesterdays stuff. i was done and out for the count yesterday. I think i have a uti or a bladder infection or kidney stone or something. i have an extreme amt of pain in the area. i'm at work and have a dr's appt at 2:00.
i really can't wait.

so my list is a mile long and i don't even know where to start. my house looks like a bomb went off. ds and dh did NOTHING yesterday. dishes in my sink, crap everywhere. um H-E-L-L-O! can you throw that in the trash RIGHT there?? come on!

ok sorry to vent. just wanted to pop in and say HI!

I slept in. No "other place" to get up and drive to.

I was supposed to clean the downstairs bathroom, but I don't feel like it today.

So:

Kitchen (I found more boxes, now I am a little concerned about space. I think I have to rearrange some)
Home Depot (scrap room shelves)
Put up the shelves
Work on unpacking some stuff for scrap room
Try to arrange boxes left in garage, so we can find the ones that still need to come inside...empties are mixed with ones that still need unpacking, it's a mess.

DH pointed out last night, that it is one month until my parents come for my birthday/Christmas. So now I feel a little stressed out that everything won't be ready.

Wow - this afternoon, I loaned my best LBD (and my $$$ good black patent leather heels!) to my DD12 for her flute solos during her school talent show Thursday night. She looks amazing!

DH will tear up for sure when he sees her in the dress - so grown-up, tall, self-confident, and gorgeous! (He won't recognize the shoes, but will notice how REALLY tall she is now in the heels!) Honestly, he probably won't recognize the dress either...at first.

Had to run and drop it off at the dry-cleaner ($16...ouch!...because of the bead work around the neckline) - for pick-up Wednesday and she'll be all set. I thought she might have to practice walking in the heels, but she seems fine. Who would have guessed?

She seems thrilled at how she looks - we'll take photos to share! DHs father is coming to visit us for a few days from PA and will be here for the show - he will be speechless to see the transformation from his cute little tomboy to this elegant young lady!

Hey, TinkerBean - if you want me to grab you a ticket, let me know. Love to have you along! [You could sneak out after her flute playing (early in the show) - we've gotta stay for the whole thing!!!]

Gah, I just saw the commercial for the Macy's two-day one-day sale! I found the ad online, I usually go over and get a girls' jacket for the coat drive. They are only $14.99, plus I have some coupons, I think 20% off. Crud, I didn't want to go out tomorrow, but if I wait until Wednesday, the jackets will probably be gone! What to do? What to do?

Throw a load into the wash and one into the dryer
Dinner was a lasagna out of the freezer
Take DD to Special Olympic swim
Bath and bed
Watch DWTS and Caste.

can't believe I'm still up and not even sleepy it's going to be a long day tomorrow. guess all L's tests for the IEP have me wound up. Thursday heads are gonna roll...................... There is a very mad momma bear in VT and there will be a few professionals that probably won't like me much. If I say dont mention medication it is not and option why waste your breath other than to make me look like the bad person sorry not playing those games. Also if I give you information that I've repeated so many times i could probably do it backwards in my sleep (after all he is my kid) make sure you write the facts down and get names, dates and all info correct. yep fairly sure this is why I can't sleep.

thank you everyone! he said it's probably a uti and gave me medicine for it, but it's not really touching it. i think it might be a kidney stone instead of a uti. but what do i know. all i do know is that i have a terrible pain in my belly.
