The Weekend... Day #2...

Woke up to yucky weather! It's fitting my mood! Where did summer go?

So my day is cleaning and packing up..

Sorry for yucky weather and mood deb!

mr Crockett is playing maytag repair man today.
Apparently I've angeried the appliance gods because my tv is dead, my washer is leaking and my dryer door is hanging off. REALLY??!!!

That's my day. I really did not want to go buy a new tv but I think I have no choice on that one. I was trying to hold out until black Friday but not going to happen. We have had this one for soooooo long. It owes us nothing. It's just I did not plan on buying on so I've got not research done.

Any advice anyone has I'd love to hear it. Thanks.

And I STILL have this flippin headache. Oh good grief.

We bought a flat panel tv and love it. It's a sony.

Dateline - Jacksonville, FL. Visiting cousins. Ran through two downpours yesterday coming up from Orlando, but today is sunny and nice. Going to Clark's Fish Camp for lunch - Alligator bites SO yummy.
My favorite scrapbook store here has closed - anyone know any others up 95?

DD1's marching band finished 2nd in their class & 4th overall (out of 30 bands) at the marching competition yesterday

Lots of homework & housework today.

Holly, oh you did tick off the electronics gods! We have a reconditioned 52" flat screen that DH got for a song at a TV repair shop. Can't remember the manufacturer.
Linda, enjoy your lunch. Wish you were here with me so we could go to the Brazilian Grill.

My to do list:
Make cinnamon coffee cake
Scrub another layer of wallpaper glue of the bathroom walls.
Supervise DH and DB on placement of the railroad ties.
Get household instructions from MomE
Go to Home Depot and ACM
Pack up and go home :/
Wave to Holly as we go by her exit.

I know what you mean -took the deck furniture off today, cleaned it up and placed it in the cellar - that is the ultimate end of summer when we do that!! Weather is cool - rain on and off all week here - so many leaves are turning and falling after some days of heavy rain (we needed rain though).
Deb - it will get better, your trip and then spring before you know it! I love the beach on a nice fall day.
Linda- safe traveling today, hoping DH is feeling better.
Lisa - I love your beach house!!! No holiday trip next weekend?
WDMickey - one of my dd was in her marchng band in hs and college. Aren't band competitions fun?

Well, we did our tie dying this morning. I'm going to have a really hard time not peeking and rinsing too early. (Supposed to wait 24 hours and I have to work tomorrow, so we're planning on doing it after work tomorrow night).

Morgan is off to a parade. The dance studio has a float in the 275 celebration parade a couple towns over. My sister picked her up this morning and they went to Justice for some shopping and then to the parade. They'll go hang with Sophie for a bit later and then bring her home. Apparently, she had Coldstone for lunch.

It's chilly here, summer has definitely gone. Lots of leaves turned and falling. Ah, I heart fall.

Well we are the proud owners of a new tv! We went to the wrentham outlets and did the whole " what do you like? I don't know - what do you like???"

and ended up agreeing to one!

Dh frankenstein'd my washer and dryer so they are both working for the minute. Knock on wood. I guess I lucked out in the mcguyver husband dept. He can fix anything with toothpick and some gum!!
I'd love a new front loader washer and dryer but let me get over the shock of buying a new tv first.

Off to fold a load!

Afternoon all

had a beautiful hike in the white mountians this am. Saw TONS of bear poop but no bear guess the dogs must have scared him/her off. Hike was close to 6 miles. I'm going to be a sore camper in the am

Camp was wonderful but chilly got some scrappin done

Holly sorry to hear you've ticked someone off. mom's new (bought less than a year ago) front loader is dead. so for the past 2 weeks she's been at our house doing laundry
