I've got a list a mile and a half long of stuff to do before we leave...It's going to be a busy 9 days!

Survived the HOA meeting last night. It was - um - acrimonious to say the least. If we ever move, it will NOT be to a neighborhood with an association. Nice people seem to get elected to the board and become petty tyrants.

Today (still trying to stave off that cold)

make lunch- I really want Chinese, but don't have the energy to go out.

Good Morning from Myrtle Beach! We got here yesterday afternoon and have had a fun time since! Our hotel is right on the beach and our room faces the ocean. It's so nice and peaceful. Love it!

Today will be a day of shopping at ACMoore, Michaels, and a wonderful outdoor mall (around a lake) called Broadway at the Beach. Then this afternoon and tonight we'll be stitching and chatting and having fun.

I've decorated our room with party decorations for my Mom. She's British so the them is Queen for the Day. I've got a crown for her and everything. She loves it! Tonight the other 3 from our Florida group will be coming to our room for a party and my Mom has champagne for us!!!

DH got an underwater camera for use on the cruise (and so did I, I guess ). We're going to Outback (drool, Alice Springs Chicken) and Coldstone (cookie batter!) for dinner and dessert. Life is good.

I had to go to Walmart for more ceiling paint. This makes the 3rd gallon...are you kidding me? And I got me a swiffer and a BIG box of wipes. I looked at the swiffervac while I was there, but I already have a little dirtdevil that is the same kind of thing. So, while it's not attached, it should work the same...

The doctor took lots of blood this am, they are ordering a metabolic panel (in addition to all the regular blood tests) to see why I am not losing any weight even though I'm really trying. Everything else was a-okay

Time to crop now.

Quick post - my aunt passed away peacefully last night. It is tremendously sad, but a blessing that she will not be suffering any more. I won't be online much through the weekend with the services, family stuff, etc. but I appreciate all the prayers and good thoughts.
