We just got home from my sisters 50th birthday party. We are all laying in
bed watching food network. I STILL have my headache.

Lisa - I hope the attitude brewing wasn't too bad.

My class went great! I had such a good time. It's a 2 hour class and was supposed to be just me talking. I know I learn better by doing so I did the talking bit I needed to do about what scrapbooking is and the different types of albums availalble and how to organize photos, the steps to creating a page, different types of matting, how to plan your scrapbook, etc. Then, I showed the tools that are most necessary. Lastly, we played! I pulled out lots of paper scraps that I have and some misc. embellishments and ribbon and we made cards. They loved it and each made 2 really great cards. They were very happy to have something to take home with them and are excited about next week. That's when they learn color theory and layout design. I talk for the first hour and then they use the photos and paper they brought with them to start their first page. It's so fun!

Jennifer, thanks....I try not to let the woman get to me! we have no kind of a relationship because of her decision to keep this grudge against me...its affecting the whole family at this point, my bro just doesn't see it

Mom, why can't you make amazing things like that? Just kidding....

And see if Morgan would do layers, like me. I get my hair chipped, so that its almost like I have feathers, there are so many layers.. it's "texturizing" if you want to be specific. But I think that would look cute on her.

Holly ~
Homecoming was great!! The parade started a few minutes early! DH and I raked in lots of candy! LOL Got almost as much as when we had the kids with us! Got great photos of my kiddos on their respective floats!!
The Junior class- Egyptian theme was great!!
The Freshman class - Medieval was cute.

All 3 of my kiddos were on floats! The two older ones mentioned above.. and B was on his football team's float!

It was a great fall evening for watching football (even though we got our butts kicked).. DH and I go and sit with our good friends and we laugh at our people watching skills! Also, my stepson came home from college.. it was so nice to see him.. He has changed and is a likeable kid...more so then before he left... (you know 19yo and they know everything all 3 of his parents were happy to see him off to college and reality of fending for himself a bit!)...

We celebrated DS10's birthday yesterday with shopping/food/fun! It was a great weekend..

My weekend was ok. We had my sisters 50th. Bubba did a hike withbthe cubscouts for his belt loop. We went and got a new tv. Oh boy. I was in sticker shock! I spent way more than I wanted too but had to have a tv.
Oh well!
