Good Morning, Ladies!

Sounds like you both made good progress on the floorS!

When we did my mil's house, The carpet layers told us NOT to take up the tack board. Unfortunately only one room and the hall had it. The three bedrooms, the old carpet was glued down and we had to chisel it up with a huge scraper. UGH. There was only two old people and no pets in that house but it was still a filthy miserable job.

Not sleeping so well tonight. This week is so exciting - dentist tomorrow, breakfast with my lawyer on Wednesday, and Home owners association meeting Wednesday night. The lawyer is the only bright spot - she's a disney nut too.

Christy, isn't it nice that sometimes your son does something that pleases you? You deserve those little pleasures - and hope they help make up for the times you find him "difficult" PS. What did you buy at the sale?

DS up and off to school
Fill out graduation announcement order form and write check - this is due while I'm in Myrtle Beach and they won't take it early. Hopefully DH & DS will remember it! I was going to make his graduation announcements, but he likes the looks of the one designed for his class and wants those. I'll make the ones for the graduation party!
Gather more supplies for games for cross stitchers
Work - all day (I haven't done that in a few weeks), but it'll be a fun day as me and another gal will be redecorating the classroom and making new project samples! And, it's my last work day for a week as starting tomorrow I'm on vacation!!!!
Grocery store
Finish putting together things for cross stitcher games
Stitch on Mom's birthday present

Linda it is so nice when they do something nice. Sale was fun. between mom and I we spent just over 100 and came home with lots of stuff. Set of embossing trays and brush for $6, stamp sets I think we got 12 different sets, lots of ribbon, color wheel (granted it's the old colors but I still have lots of them), and old catalog, a round edge punch, couple of old color pads that I wanted and a few other things.
Brooke our kids have a long weekend this weekend as do I!
Stephanie good luck with the men remembering!! and that sounds like a fun work day

sounds likes the floors are coming along nicely....I have them too in my condo (got put down before we moved in though) love them except I seem to be swiffering them every other day...mine are through the hallway, dining, kitchen and living rooms!

This weekend went way to quickly...

DS18 was telling me about a swiffer vac that uses the swiffer sheets, and has a little vac all in one...has anyone tried this?

At my old house we had hardwood floors, and I just dry mopped with Endust. Here, I am out of the habit. I also hated how nasty those dust mop heads got...

So you guys like the swiffer?

that's what I use and love the fact it picks up double....the vac part works first and then the dry mat gets the rest, it does need to have a filter for the vac part, just empty the cup each time, I've probably used mine 30+ times and still using original filter, but probably needs a new one soon. its rechargeable and I also use in the bathrooms to help pick up the hair.

Okay now need to vent took my laptop to best buy geek squad, they tested the usb ports, both work so why on the same day did my wireless mouse and printer stop working I now have to bring in the laptop, printer, all programing stuff to see if they can figure it out....I HATE COMPUTERS, Jim was always able to figure this stuff out for me, I am so not a computer whiz.

Oh, what a day! My brand spanking new computer at work stopped working! I was not happy...spent a long long time restoring stuff.

What a day is right!

Honestly, when the puters don't work, it makes me crazy!! DS18 is having a prob with his too... I'm so ready to just get him a new one!!


So I pulled staples for hours today. DH and DUncle did this thing when the carpet was installed like 15yrs ago and put down rozen paper. Yeah, I really don't know what they were thinking, but every 6" there is a staple with pink rozen paper under it that I am popping up from the subfloor. It's a big room, I'm so sore! And only 1/2 is done! Still have like 20' x 9' to finish tomorrow!

I kept telling Dh if I had known, I would have had him sign a "prestaple"...like a prenup, saying "If in the event that hardwood flooring is to be installed over this subflooring instead of carpet..." And have HIM pull all these staples!

Deb I agree with pre nups right now mine would say fix your own dang trail camera or be kissing my feet for doing it for you. Hang in there and think about the end and how nice it will be.
