Good Morning!!! It's downright chilly here this morning. My cats love it and are bouncing off the walls!:rotfl:

We got more good news yesterday! DS got accepted into another college!! And, this one is his 2nd choice!!!!! The other good news is that we found out that DS and his chorus performing in the Candlelight Processional on the day after Thanksgiving at WDW is a sure thing!!! They got enough kids signed up and paid so it's a go!! Yay!!! That means I get to go to WDW two times in November! Can't beat that!

We may go to the movies and out to lunch today. We'll see what we want to do once my guys are up.

On my list for today:
Get DS to write up his birthday list (everyone is asking for it!)
Work on things for my cross stitch retreat in Myrtle Beach - I leave on Wednesday and I'm so not ready. Today I need to:
- pull items to go in grab bag
- make grab bag container
- gather all the supplies I need for the games - make list of what still needs to be purchased
- pick out some patterns I don't want anymore to put on the trade table
- kit up something to stitch while I'm there
- pack up beads and other beading supplies - one of the gals is going to teach me how to make jewelry. All I know how to do is a scissor fob!
- Work on poem for stitched exchange - need to adjust for different numbers of people since we don't have an exact head count
Stitch on my Mom's birthday present
Work on swaps

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning, Ladies!

DIT, Your cross stitch retreat sounds fun!

Christie, I wish I was going with you - I love the old sets as much as the new ones, so if she's selling off her old stuff you are SO in luck!

Today

prepare breakfast
Pool and gym
make cards
prepare lunch
go for a walk (trying to add another 1/2 hour of exercise in the afternoon)
work on cards
prepare supper (homemade pizza on whole wheat crust)
work on cards
bed.

Happy Day, all!

I slept in a bit late, which was nice and awoke to my coffee already made for me. She likes me today! :lmao:

*Nothing* planned for the day other than a run to the grocery store. A mouse could starve in this house (if the cats left him alone long enough).

Football later. Go Pats!

Congrats to DS, Stephanie. If we were going to WDW, we'd be leaving the day after TG, so I'd miss him, but I'd love to see him someday!

Hope everyone has a wonderful, healthy day!

Good Morning!

Sundays are always busy for us- it is the busiest day of the week for work.

Today:
print bullitens (I was still waiting for a scripture and sermon title when I went to bed last night)
service
lunch out
maybe hospital visit(or DH may do it alone)
groceries
get ready for children's service tonight
evening service
sometime in there work on swaps

Rebecca

DIT, Your cross stitch retreat sounds fun!

Oh, it is! My Mom and I have been going for 12 years. This year there are 65 stitchers meeting up at the beach. It's fantastic fun, we do exchanges and a grab bag white elephant type of game! For the last 5 years or so, I've been in charge of the games for Friday and Saturday night. It's a challenge since, other than Bingo, they don't really like to repeat games and they don't like anything where they have to get up out of their seat. I've gotten creative this year and found some good games for them.

Congrats to DS, Stephanie. If we were going to WDW, we'd be leaving the day after TG, so I'd miss him, but I'd love to see him someday!

You'll get to see him sometime! One of these days he's going to be on Broadway!!!:goodvibes

Stephanie :cool1:for the 2nd letter and one of the top choices at that!!!! and 2 trips in a month you are soooo lucky.

Linda that is exactly what she is doing. This is the woman that had a few at the yard sale a month ago, she was at an event and her husband told her that we bought basically 1/2 of what she had and were still interested so she and I have been playing tag as to which weekend worked. I can't wait although I'm so running out of room for them. I've switched to any new sets will be the clear to save space.

Jennifer glad you got a chance to sleep in I was hoping to but my body work me at the normal time and all the kids slept till 7:30:scared1:

Rebecca That's not fair to make you wait and then have to do it all in the am.

need to update my su list quickly will let you know if I get good deals.

Morning all!
PD to all in need!
Stephanie, Great news on the college front...the #1 will be coming soon too!!
what an honor to be playing for the Candlelight Proc!! and bonus trip for you is fun!!

Rebecca, my friend is married to a pastor, her Sunday's are crazy too + they have 3 kids. She loves it!

easy day for us:

:surfweb:
pancakes for breakfast
watch Sunday Morning
go pick up light at store..never made it the other day
lunch at 5GuysBurgers
mall
swap stuff
dinner - stuffed shells
watch amazing race
bed early

Have a great day all!!

DH and I went to see DS18 in the Rocky show last night. He did really well, even better than the last time I saw him. DH had fun. Every time they had to do something in the audience, DS18 would come and pick on his father...it was really funny.

Little story from last night...
I had another run in with the little weasel assistant manager. What a little creep! DH thought it was too funny...goes and tells DS18 his mother almost got us thrown out. They have a sign that says no pictures. I thought it meant no pictures inside the theater, not no pictures of my DH's head shot in the lobby. Little creep came swooping in, stood there in all of his full 5'1" glory and asked me if I saw the sign. I told him I didn't think the sign meant a pic of my husband in the lobby, I thought it meant inside. I was being so nice. He got all Napoleon on me, told me I already said I read the sign, told me to delete the pic I took... are you kidding me? He was so getting off on having control of this middle aged couple. So, DH deleted it, and then the little weasel told us to put the camera in the car, I couldn't even keep it in my purse. I had to bite my tongue not to tell the little creep what I was thinking. I was steaming red angry :headache: DH just took the camera to the car. I broke the rules, but I explained that I misunderstood. This little weasel gets a bit over the top agressive over a minor thing. No lie, I think he would have thrown us out just to do it, because he could.

Save me from little Napoleon men!!

Back late last night from a wonderful visit with my lovely little (old - no longer a teen!) CM! Had a terrific b-day celebration with her, great MNSSHP, tours, F&W, meeting her new CM friends...and Pixie Dust galore! A very magical trip! Sorry it couldn't be longer, but I'm goin' back soon! :cool1:

PBF- So glad you had a great trip!

 I get to go look at paint swatches and see DS22 at his job

Lets see if I can get any more managers mad at me today

Welcome home, Pam, glad to hear you had a good trip!

Sounds like that guy suffers from SMS - short man syndrome. Glad you didn't get tossed, but really step off little man!

My sister has taken Morgan for the afternoon. DH is going to the wake of a co-worker's mother later, so he'll pick her up. She has a science test to study for. I'm grabbing my book and curling up on the couch, I think.

Stephanie, Great news on the college front...the #1 will be coming soon too!!

We won't hear from the #1 choice until December 8 at midnight! They've already said that applications received prior to Oct. 16 won't find out their acceptance status until then. So, we wait. He has an audition with the theatre department for the BFA program there on the 4th of December so we will be sitting on pins and needles at the beginning of December.

Deb, that little manager guy sounds horrible. Sounds like he has control issues.

Pam, I'm so glad you had a great visit with ZTH. I'm sure she was happy to have you there with her for her birthday.

Someone needs to squash that "littleman" and put him in his place

Pam happy to hear you had such a fun trip with ZTH!

okay we went to 5guysburgers today, how come no one warned me they were so big! very yummy and messy too!

Went to Home Depot, and DS22 helped me :teeth: My, what great customer service that place has! :rotfl2:

So, I got all these paint chips... of course the kids are....

"beige" "beige" "beige" "beige" "Aren't the walls already beige mom?" :lmao:

I came home and DH had already taken most of the carpet out. The padding is G R O S S!!! Soooo dirty! 2 dogs, 2 kids, lots of traffic.

G R O S S!!!

Now it's take all those pesky little staples out, and vacuum...

Deb, I remember when we took up our carpet and padding, it is gross, there was fine sand even under the padding. YUCK

Stephanie, congrats to DS. Getting those college acceptance letters are great. Lucky you going to WDW 2 x in November. Have a great time at the cross stitch retreat. :goodvibes
