It's Friday!

I survived training for 3 days. Now when we go live (might be Monday) I'm ready! As my reward, they gave me today off And we are going to have white stuff, so I'm staying home, cleaning my house, and doing my missions. When DS17 gets home from school, we are finishing taking down Christmas...

My List for today:

Caffeinate

This repeats every day!!

Try to keep my word kinder

Swish and Swipe... everyday!

Climb Mt Washmore

Call DVC

Dust and vacuum the downstairs

Finish taking down Christmas

Dinner Something yummy!!

Oh, Deb, enjoy your day off though it sounds like you are going to be busy working at home.

Apparently I am starting my day early today, don't know why I am up so early. My to do list:

Put wood in the woodstove
Download new content to SB+
Write in DD's communication book
throw a load of whites into the wash
Feed Kitty
Clean out his stinky pete box
Work
caffeinate
Pick up extra tables
Finish making some yummies for tomorrows crop
Pack van for crop

DS is going to be disappointed that he isn't getting a snow day! We may get patches of sleet this morning. It will be downright freezing, though, since we've already reached our high for the day and it's rainy and once the rain finishes coming through this morning, it'll be windy too. Brrrrr!!!!

My day:
Have a cup of hot chocolate to warm up
DS up and off to school
Unpack suitcases - I should have done this yesterday, but I was lazy!
Open MK Swap sign-ups
Tidy living room and kitchen
Work
Pickup WDW photos
Dinner - ?? - I didn't make a menu or grocery shop yesterday either
Put WDW photos on ABC swap pages
Work on swaps

90 minute delay here. My kiddos were quite disappointed by that news last night. Me not so much. Not sure a four day weekend would help my frazzled nerves. A home bound four day weekend.

TGIF!

We have that nasty white stuff outside, so no school today, but I have to go to work. DH called and said the road crews went out about 5:30 this morning again, so hopefully by the time 9:00 rolls around, it will be ok for me. Darn having to wait for DH to get home, breaks my heart! Not. If it wasn't for the fact that most everyone else in the same job I have lives 20+ miles away and travels mostly country roads, I'd stay home (I'm about 5 miles away, if that). Boss knows where I live and she'd probably come get me, so I may as well go in.

Today's short list:
let boys sleep in (if they will--they're the stranges ones that get up early anyway)
unload dishwasher
reload dishwasher
work
stay warm
scrap this evening here (crop was canceled due to weather)

I'm off to work in a minute. Don't want to go there, but I must. On a good note, while I'm over that way I should finally be able to finish up my returns. Especially since I got my credit card back.

I have to clean my bathroom and vacuum when I get home, so I'll be pretty much all set for the par-tay tomorrow night once I get home from the crop. Eeep, have to find some time in there to pack (lightly) too!

DS17 said the roads were terrible. Public school was 2hr delayed, but not his school, he was on the road at 615..grrrrrrr! I think if your local district is on delay or closed, you should be able to go by that rule. Just MHO

bathe puppies
put away dog toys
begin looking through entertainment center to see what we can get rid of
work on daily missons- dates on calendar(which needs to be opened), change AC filter, look through family room for stuff to recycle, print out holiday planners from Organized Christmas to being filling out

All these organizing threads are stressing me out!! Oh and that budget board $0 spending days thread - ARGH!

Danica!! BBW question! Bought me and my friends those shea infused fuzzy socks for Xmas. I kept the red ones with gray toes. SO EXCITED. Took off tags - slid in feet - waiting to find bliss. What I found was a mis-sewn toe seam where I cannot get my foot all the way in without creating this big wad of sock under my toes. So not blissful. Will the store let me exchange them?

Totally forgot that Monday is the last day to turn in PDAs for DS17's yearbook. Spent all morning going through pics...funny pics? serious pics? He is always so campy in shots, it's hard to find just a "nice" one. And I have this too funny cartoon of him drawn by a guy at a show he went to... Just don't know what to do...STRESSSSSSS

Need to find a cute little boy pic now... I found one of him sitting in a big hippo's mouth... That one is f.u.n.n.y.

Yep, you can! 100% guarantee. And I got the same ones, and have the same problem. The issue is that they're double-lined, so the socks aren't missewn, but they have two layers of fabric which rub together and get all bunched.

Get the regular shea-infused ones when you exchange them... they're the same comfort, but without the bunching. It should say what it is on that red tag.

Dad's not better but not really worse. His Dr is being very cautious and this am thought his stomach was a bit distended so no food yet. that is making him grumpy. Dr is also headed out of town for the weekend so mom will be camped out up there. This floor is not as attentive as they should be so medical things. With this there is rectal bleeding and they change the pad under him but don't bother with the sheets. that isn't flying get your patootie back in here. The male nurse hardly cleaned him the other night. Needless to say it was reported. So we're hoping to get him home sunday as we can do a much better job taking care of him.

Christy - I'm so sorry your Dad isn't getting the car he should. I would ask to speak with the Patient Representative for the hospital, at least that's what she's called where I work.

I hope he gets better quickly so he can get home!

Christy- I'm so sorry that you are having issues with the hosp floor. Keep complaining and squeaking. It's good that your dad has you and your mom as advocates. I think you get better care when the floor knows family is there and will NOT tolerate so-so care. Just being there and watching makes the world of difference!

so my car is still being worked on. They needed to break the outside door handle to get the broken part out so they ordered a whole new part. The new part needs to be painted so it looks like Monday or Tuesday til I get my car back. Thankfully they gave me a loaner car but it's not big enough for all of us. I'll have to farm my kids out when I take DH to the airport.
