No private room but no roommate as of this am so that is a good thing. He had a good night and wasn't asking mom to get up there asap so that is an even better thing. The surgical residents came though before I left but didn't know anything as they only had the chart and weren't in the OR. Dr Truss came in before mom left but of course after I had gone. So she felt pretty good leaving him.
