I think I'd be calling the Better Bus Bureau when this gets all done, sounds like he needs a bad hit on his rating!!

AWM. I would just politely let them know that if you don't have your cabinets by the end of the week that you will expect a refund in full or you that you will meet them in court.

Had a great day! Spent the day at work compiling the community cookbook and choosing clip art. nice way to relax

Won another battle with the ex husband. Told him to choose the girls over the crazy old lady. I explained to him that I had found some pathways of keeping ALL of my children from seeing her, and that if he allowed it he would be held legally responsible. he chose the girls. wise choice i believe.

The storm was suppose to start at 4:00 pm, it started at 10:00 am. Fortunately it is a really fine snow, like powdah! DD had early dismissal so I went to pick her up, then picked up MomE and the furbaby. They are spending the night at our house. Mom brought cornish game hens for dinner. YUM.

DH had a long day because of the road conditions, ended up working from 4:40 am to 6:00 pm.

Be safe out there in the NE our friends in MD got hammered today. I don't miss that white stuff.

Rachel - I have been gone and don't know the history but I am glad he chose the girls!

Foggy foggy here. DH is staying the night in SF so he doesn't have to drive home in this mess.

Girls night! Made homemade pizza and going to go read in bed with DD11. Talked on DISFriend from MD - they are taking a Med cruise this August. So wish I could go with!! Lucky duck is sneaking in a visit to Disneyland Paris!!

I don't know the background story either, but I am sure glad to hear when a parent chooses the step up and the person they signed up to be when having children.


I'm afraid it is going to come down to going to court. This is just crazy. I ordered them in MAY. It will be a year way too soon.

My DH was up several times last night too. He called work at 3:01 am (they said to check after 3:00 am), and they hadn't canceled or delayed. I mumbled something about "give them five minutes..." and rolled over. He called again around 5:00 and they had changed it to a 2 hour delay. But the phone kept ringing and he'd hang up and it would ring again. I was not a happy camper! School (reverse 911) called at 5:32 to tell us it was canceled, but I couldn't find the phone because DH had left it in the bathroom...It's already been a long morning and it's not even 8:00.
