It's The Day before Friday!!

Today that machine that I was trained on 2 weeks ago is supposed to go live. Hopefully things go smoothly, and everyone keeps their temper This should make things easier for me in the long run, but right now it's still new, and there will be growing pains...

My List for today:

Staples for new Bluetooth. These suckers are expensive enough but when I lost them at the rate I have, it is getting ridiculous but it's a state law, handsfree while talking on the cell when driving. :ride: Does anybody who was at my crop the 9th remember when I put that little sucker?

Ditto on my end to. It's been a LONG week and we still have today and tomorrow. My nights of insomnia have caught up with me and I'm dragging today. I sat down yesterday after work and woke and hour later!!!! Almost missed the busses for the boys.

Lisa - Hope you find your bluetooth! MIL dropped hers in the toilet not long ago.....I don't want to know. She also lost a cell phone that way a couple of years ago.

I'm at home today. Errands and chores. Don't want to type my list up again, I've written it down, I'll mark it off as I go.

Chicken carcass is in the crock pot to make soup. I love chicken soup.

Wish every day could be like today - a good balance today of chores and non-crazy time. Terrific, since I'm still kinda hung-over from the frenzy of yesterday - the dog also chewed up DSs brand-new toy (only hours old from NYC) yesterday afternoon. It was simply an awful day! (Except the scrappy $hop trip and the part when TinkerBean called - we kinda held each other up!)

Lisa - hope you find it! Those little buggers are SO small - good luck.

Good Morning,

Hey PBF Hope your day is better than yesterday - you deserve a quiet day.

Wasn't on much yesterday. Bad back spasms. Still hurthing this morning but at least I am up

I have a good friend comming over today to hang out. She is about the strongest woman I know. She is battling her 4th cancer diagnosis (hodgskin's lymphoma twice, thyroid cancer and now breast cancer - she had a double mastectomy and it just finishing her chemo). She lost her husband 15 years ago, only 6 weeks after they had adopted a baby from Korea. Shortly after she decided to follow her dream of being a Vet (she already had a Master's in Computer Science from Brown) and went back to school full time. She is an inspiration.

So whenever I start feeling sorry for myself - I think of what she has overcome.

So today-

Up
Caffiene
Drive the bean to school
Tidy up back parlour (it looks like a "Littlest Pet Shop" bomb went up in here
Clean kitchen
Load dishwasher
Tidy up in dining room
Tidy up foyer
Think of something for lunch (we might go to the Danish Pastry house )
Clear front stairwell
Make up
Hang out by the fire, knit, laugh, cry and just enjoy our friendship

While in town bought 2 plastic trash cans to put feed in to keep it from getting wet & handled that
And 2 container to move stuff to storage unit and pack up DHs new rockets from Santa

Not happy about having to drive 40 minutes to get ANOTHER DIFFERENT pig food. These show pigs are ridiculous. I have 2 bags down there why a different formula?? UGH. Vent over. It must be done apparently.

OK better get to steppin'.

SIOH- I am working on weight loss too. I feel your pain about going to the gym although since I got serious about things I have been losing weight steadily (just the little bit I put on over Christmas- the rest will be a bit harder).

Today is a no school day due to icy roads.... we had a chorus of sirens heading out west of our house all morning... we finally closed schools 30 minutes before the 2-hour delay busses would be arriving... WE have built in days so it's good.. PJ is excited as she had 3 tests today.. extra study day.

So today's list was minimal anyway...so that is good..

Its great to feel like something is finally getting done. I hate to be ungrateful but its not fast enough for me. I hope this surveyor gets what he needs and they pull this site plan together quickly so the entire plan packet can be submitted to the county. That is the big unknown.

But thanks! Yes, its getting there!

Thanks we did have a nice visit. She did tell me that Flint (the yorkie) was a little chunkier than he should beToo many cookies...She is starting her mobile Vet business on February 22nd and we are her first clients (and she is bringing a scale with her) - so Flint has some work to do before then...Maybe I should sign him up on the WISH boards too
