The Daily Grind ~ 1/16/15

Good Morning!

I have a scraproom to put back together this morning. I need more desk space so DH, DS14 and I went and grabbed some items to make that happen. Now to put things back together and reorganize by noon so I can start scrapping after lunch.

Prayers and to all in need. Please if you could say and extra prayer and send some pixie dust to one of PJ's close friends. He did not return to campus this semester because he is in the hospital. She is devestated on top of having student teaching/lots of homework.

Today's agenda:

make lunches x 2
once over house
send DH off to work
DS14 up
DS14 to school
finish scrap room clean up/organization
scrap
pick up DS14
homework (thankfully it is a 3-day weekend )
talk w/ college kiddos today (check on PJ w/ everything going on & give C static just because I can)

stop at LSS to get embellies for cards and see what she brought back from CHA!!
meet friend for lunch

Morning...more like what a morning!

Well, Boo's surgery was postponed. They did blood work only to find she is full blown diabetic! Her sugar level was 501 when it should have been 160 and that was after a 12 hour fast of no food or water! Vet had to give her insulin ASAP. She hasn't shown any signs of being diabetic; no weight loss, no appetite increase or water increase. Only peeing 3x a day too. Sooo, they are keeping her for most of the day, feeding her, giving her insulin and then we meet with the dr. and pick her up at 5-5:30. The good news is cats can go into remission and we may only have to keep her on insulin for awhile. Once her sugar level evens out, they can remove the tooth. That means she'll be on more antibiotics too...

Hope everyone has a good day - gotta take a nap. I have been up since 3am with Boodles...

Hope everyone has a great Friday! I'm hoping the day goes by quickly, as I have a lot to do tonigh
My kids are in tons of activities, so my daily calendar is always crazy.

Tonight I have the 1st basketball practice at 5:00.
The 2nd is at 7:30.
We are going away this weekend to Wisconsin. I have lots of grocery shopping to do before we leave. And I bet I'll need to get snowsuits for both kids too.

And I would like to get at least 1 scrapbook page in tonight too....lol

Afternoon. Only working a half day today as I have to work tomorrow and we are not to work overtime. Going out tonight with friends so I definitely will need a nap

Wash some blankets. Done
Finish my book. Done

Th is going away tomorrow so I hope to get a bunch a things done
