Good Monday! It is a whopping 9 degrees here. Can you tell whomever is in charge of the heat that we would prefer at least 65? Yes, 65 for the winter would do just nicely.

My Monday to do list:

Write in DD's communication book - done
Put wood in the woodstove
Feed kitty
Change his stinky pete box
Put laundry into the dryer
Get DD up and ready for school
Work
Dinner
Take DD to Special Olympic swim. Kind of hoping this gets cancelled because of the cold.
Start researching laptops, mine is running real slloooooooooooooow. Didn't help it was dropped two weeks ago.

Good morning!! I was kind of hoping for a sn*w day here, but it doesn't look like it's happening! Oh well. . .at least it's pajama day at work, so that won't be too bad!

3. Caffeinate--I'm SLEEEEEEEPY this morning. Gonna need it!
4. Clean DH's bathroom
5. Clean my bathroom

PJ day does seem a poor substitute for a snow day.
My kiddos have been off for four days and they don't want to go back either.
Told them to cheer up, they do have off on Friday for Teacher In Service and Monday for MLK day. Another 4 day weekend.

work on swaps
dinner

Yes, Grams in N. Ft. Myers called to say they had a photo on the paper in Ocela? (i think) a family built a small snow man! LOL Gram said it's awfully cold in FLA! ;(

I have a might long list... I do the major things here.. there is several things already marked off so I won't even bother with them.

count up finish pages
add pages to Jan. challenge
type up detail Jan. goal list so I can mark them off as completed
fix DS13's dinner for him to take to school (game night)
dinner @ home because game change
attack paper list of items
homework duty
babysitting kids picked up
leave for BB game @ 4:45pm Game now at home so don't have to leave til 6pm as the 8th grade won't start til 6:30pm! Yeah!!! Plus I save gas and admission because I have my season pass!!! ROCK ON!!


Think that is about it.. no one wants to get out of their warm beds so time to go light a fire under some bottoms to move them along!

Rebecca, I lived in Titusville for 5 years as a kid! My brother and his family are still there (he works for NASA) and my mom is going down tomorrow. Ah good times, good times.

I'm working today. Don't want to go, but if I want my "year end" bonus, I've got to show up and put it through payroll, so that's a great incentive!

Big list today - my book group is coming here tonight for dinner and discussion.

Since I spent most of yesterday afternoon/evening uploading 306 photos to my fave local photo store - offering a 10-cent sale (they've never done this before!), some of yesterday's list stuff is still hanging on - but I'll be fine and ready for the girls when they get here tonight. And, I'll have oodles of photos to scrap with now, baby! Was up till 2 a.m. finishing the book - a crappy one, sad to say - oh, well.

Making French Onion soup - (a new recipe I'm trying from the new issue of Real Simple), homemade bread, salad, and a puff pastry/chocolate mousse dessert I made up. Each member only hosts every six months or so, so it is nice to put in a bit of extra effort...
