The Crystal Palace

I just wrote about this on my blog. I love the Crystal Palace for breakfast. Just went in April and I couldn't believe they no longer had the breakfast lasagna. Still one of the best values on property! Get there early. Get some great pictures in front of the castle and when you finish your meal you are already halfway into the park. Hit the mountains in Frontierland and you can just about finish that side of the park before the crowds get too big.

Loved this meal. The characters are great and so similar to their personalities. I have this great picture of Piglet and my ds nose to nose and my ds has the biggest smile on his face and you can see my dd smiling in the background.

We could only get an early dinner there last trip, but have a breakfast reservation for our upcoming one.

I agree with a pp who said ask for your check early! Otherwise you may not get out of there by 9 unless you have a really efficient server! (we never seem to get that kind)

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know the prices for lunch at the CP? Disney's site quotes a wide range and my cousin and I are considering going but would like to know how much its gonna cost.

We love the CP for breakfast! Just a warning, depending on how packed it is, that sometimes the characters take a while to get to you. We saw everyone except for Tigger last time because he was talking his time. In fact we we're all done with breakfast all ready by the time Pooh came to us. So we we're just sitting there waiting for him.

It takes about an hour for them to go around. (They told me this about 3 times.) That said we nearly had to wait a lot longer than that because eeyore was at the table before us, then the parade started, he took a break after that, and next time I saw him he was 10 tables past us. However, I just talked with the handler that was standing over by the buffet area and explained what happened. She said whenever we were ready to see him to just come talk to her again. We got our moments with Eeyore without waiting another hour for him to come by.

i definitely say to keep your breakfast. there is nothing like walking up an almost-empty Main Street.

i will say, though, that we were not out of there by 9 on our trip last June. we had to wait forever for Tigger. and of course, my kids didn't want to leave until we'd seen them all.
