I know there is a lot of discussion about crowds, but I was curious about what the crowds will be like the 4 days after Labor Day? That is when we are going. I am hoping that since most all schools have started by then, that it will not be too crowded. But it is Disney........ ;)

Wonderful! The crowds are almost non-existent, no waits at all. Almost eerie b/c it's so empty. Of course, the only drawback is that its HOT!

That's what we were wondering too. Hope it is light crowds. We'd love to have our first experience at Disney be a less crowded one.

I'd pick the heat :sunny: over the crowds :crowded: ANY DAY!

WOW...WE MUST ALL HAVE BEEN THINKING THE SAME THING,.....WE ARE LOOKIN TO GO THAT WED AFTER LABOR DAY WEEKEND, HOPING THE CROWDS WILL BE GONE! :flower:

We will also be there starting September 9th for 10 nights. I went one other time in September and the crowds were great compared to the summer. See you all there!

We're arriving Sept 3rd and staying until the 9th- hope to see you there as we should be the only few in the parks! Won't that be grand?

I'll be there 9/4 to 9/14. Purposely picked the first week after labor day because I assumed it would be the least crowded September week. With the free dining plan though, I'm beginning to wonder..... Doesn't matter, I'll be at Disney!!!!

After reading all of these posts - the crowds may be a little higher than normal cuz of free dining. Taking my kids out of school for a week to get in on that action. We have to make this an educational trip (isn't that what Epcot is for!!!) Oh well can't wait - will be there the 6th - 12th

I'll be there too! The 10th through 14th, adult only trip...Couldn't pass up the $98 round trip airfare! :cool1:

DH and I will be arriving on the 8th. Thank God because it's the only night MK is open somewhat late. It will just be the 2 of us and we are soooo looking forward to spending 18 days at CBR. Looking forward to going over to US and IoA for the FIRST time! Going to try to make a green mickey for my window in our room.

SEE YOU ALL THERE! :wave2:

Crowd-wise, it's just about the best time to visit...still pretty hot, but not as hot and humid as it is right now.

And I must tell you, having been to Epcot yesterday in the heat and massive crowds....well, I just don't know why people do it. I live down here and was over for the day with a family member visiting from out of town. Just awful. All FPs for Soaring gone at 2pm and a 90 minute wait for a 2.5 minute ride. We actually waited about 30 minutes to get into the Living Seas. I can't ever remember the last time waited for that ride. A 45 minute wait for Maelstrom at 5 pm with FP return of 8:15. Just awful....

We went late Aug through post Labor Day one year and there is a dramatic difference after the holiday! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. :sunny:

All my life - went in June. Last year, labor day week, sandwiched between the hurricanes. NO COMPARISON. It was like we owned the place. This year, 9/5-9/10 at WL. I'll be greedy and say that I hope the free dining doesn't bring in too many extra guests!!! :rolleyes1
